Fyre Fest II's First Ticket Drop Already Sold Out, But Wait...

Billy McFarland is claiming that the first drop of tickets for his Fyre Festival IIhas sold out already. More will be coming though!
Are You Going To Fyre Fest II?
The scam artist who was jailed for his last shady attempt at a music festival is back making the same mistakes again it seems and according to him, people are very willing to follow behind him. Maybe it’s the excitement that comes along with being apart of the drama, or maybe it’s wanting to see things for yourself.
For whatever reason, McFarland bragged on his Twitter account about his sold-out first drop. “The first FYRE Festival II drop has sold out.,” he writes. “Since 2016 FYRE has been the most talked about festival in the world. We now saw this convert to one of the highest-priced GA pre-sales in the industry. FYRE is about people from the around the world coming together to pull off the impossible."
What that “impossible” is, is still unknown, from here it looks like a music festival that if you have enough money you too can tag along.
Billy McFarland Is Making Changes
After announcing the great news, in the same post, he writes. “This time we have incredible support. I’ll be doing what I love while working with the best logistical and infrastructure partners. In addition, all ticket sale revenue will be held in escrow until the final date is announced.”
The message continues, “We look forward to surprising the world alongside our partners as we build FYRE and FYRE Festival II into the island adventure of a lifetime.” The problem with all this is the last Fyre Fest started out this way.
Billy collected money and did all this promotional stuff and when people got to the island, it was a bust. Not just a bust, it was a hot mess from the accommodations, to the food, to the escape off the island.
Billy McFarland Started A Waitlist
For anyone who wants to go to part two of this debacle have no fear you will get another chance to snatch up your own ticket. McFarland hasn’t announced when the next round of tickets will go on sale but he says more is coming.
While Billy is busy being a marketing genius, people are taking to the comments to warn those spending the shocking $700 plus to secure a seat on what is sure to be a janky AF boat. They are also blasting McFarland for “being at it again” and scamming a new generation.
‘Is This A Parody, Billy’
The comments are hilarious of course and one of the main questions is if this whole this is real or a joke. People actually can’t believe that McFarland is doing this again “No dates, no lineup, no worries 😎,” joked one follower.
“Looking forward to the new documentary,” joked another follower referencing the two docs that dropped calling out McFarland’s scam. “I’ll go if you deliver on the free tickets promised for the attendees of the first one.”
Many hopped in the chat to remind Billy and others of the horrible food that went viral when the scam went belly up. “Do the cheese sandwiches come with or without mayo?”
Hopefully, the fallout from this one isn’t as bad as the last.
