Zeppole is all of us in the hot summer months. Just give us a pool for a fun way to cool off and we're happy, right?

While Zeppole the golden retriever doesn't have a pool in his yard, his neighbor does, and since sharing is caring, Zeppole decided why not just test the pool out? No invitation necessary!

No pool, no problem; that is, when your next-door neighbor has a pool. Another thing that's not a problem - an invitation. The adorable pool loving pup doesn't care about all those technicalities and just does what most of us probably wish we could.

A viral video on TikTok shows just how Zeppole enjoys some cooling off in the neighbor's pool. The video has received nearly 38 million views and 43,000 comments.

The video shows just how Zeppole invites himself to enjoy a refreshing dip in the neighbor's pool when no one's looking. (And it's possibly the cutest thing you'll see today!)

The video demonstrates how the pup manages to invite himself for a swim by hopping the fence between the yards and how he's not easily persuaded to leave the pool to go back home after trespassing. And while the pup is enjoying the pool, he splashes in the cutest way possible making it hard for anyone to want to make him leave his happy place.

One viewer could relate to the adorable dilemma. "I swear I spend more time retrieving my golden retriever from places he’s not allowed to go than he does retrieving anything!"

Another viewed pointed out, "It would be the best day of my life if I came home to find a dog in my pool."

Another follower had an idea to help Zeppole get to the neighbor's pool without so much effort. "I think there needs to be a doggy door installed along the gate for easier access."

One viewer noted, "If I was at work and saw this on my ring cameras, I'd be screaming let him stay!! ?" Which brings us to the question - what does the neighbor think of the sweet uninvited trespasser?

The Neighbor's POV

Many viewers wondered just what the neighbor thought about the pool loving pup visiting the pool. A video shared a few days after the original video showed the neighbor's POV with a little hilarious commentary thrown in for fun.

"That woman is in the shower outside, so the time is now," the video begins. "Oh no, I think I hear something. Does that teeny-bopper next door really think he's incognito and I don't see him filming me? That woman keeps telling me I'm going to injure myself and that I'm not invincible just because I'm cute. But no pain, no gain. Remember folks! The first rule of trespassing - you must act natural."

That's when you see Zeppole appearing to do some landscaping before heading toward the pool. Zeppole then is seen enjoying the water, splashing and swimming and dodging his human when she realizes where the doggo is and what he's up to.

"So the neighbors don’t mind!!?? That’s amazing," one person wrote to which the pup's owner responded, "They are so kind and don’t mind! they have two yellow labs."

Another viewer offered a legit alibi for Zeppole to soften the blow of being accused of trespassing. "He was literally just trimming the landscape and fell in ?," the viewer wrote. Zeppole's human responded, "That’s what he tells me…. ??"

All's well that ends well. The neighbor gets some free landscaping and a good laugh and Zeppole gets to live out his dream of becoming a "merman."
