Pregnant Jana Kramer Opens Up About Her C-Section As Due Date Approaches

Jana Kramer has shared more insight into her latest pregnancy.

As her due date draws nearer, the acclaimed country music singer opened up to curious fans about how she has been dealing with pregnancy side effects so far. As she disclosed, between her "wild" pregnancy cravings and nausea, her diet has drastically changed since she became pregnant with her third child.

Kramer was more than open to having a real-time conversation with her two million followers while waiting at the airport. Taking to her Instagram Story, she posted a selfie that showed her wearing a denim jacket over a gray outfit alongside the write-up, "6 hour delay at the airport" and a "Ask me a question" banner.

Heeding to her request, one fan promptly asked the "One Tree Hill" alum how her diet had changed since she took in. Responding to the query, the actress began:

"it's so wild how different pregnancies are. In the first trimester I couldnt really stomach anything but a bagel and cream cheese and now the thought of a bagel and cream cheese makes me want to vomit. I can't eat any sweets or my stomach hurts."

She noted that even though she was "still nauseous throughout the day," the nausea usually worsened "at night and [in the] morning." The 39-year-old added that she was "one of the few that have morning sickness until the end," citing that she experienced the same when she was pregnant with her second child and first son, Jace.

Another similarity between her third pregnancy and her second was the cravings for "cold things" like "peaches, cherries, and fresh squeezed oj." Kramer then conclusively expressed:

"I really wish I could eat fries or warm things but that sounds awful to me. Also I can't drink flatwater or that makes me want to puke too. So I have lots of bubbly."

In another answered question, the New York Times bestselling author divulged the reason she opted for a "scheduled c section," writing, "I've already had 2 c sections and with the size of my fibroid I was told i had to do a c section again. I'm fine with that though."

Despite having experienced going under the knife to birth her two older kids, Kramer still had some reservations about doing it again. Exploring her "honest feelings about delivery #3" per a fan's inquiry, the "Return of the Living Dead: Necropolis" star stated:

"Listen I'm not gonna lie I have my fears. It's a scary unknown thing even with a "scheduled c section." All I can pray for is a healthy baby and a smooth delivery. The reality is I can't control the outcomes or what's going to happen so when I get fearful or start to panic I just need to pray and be positive that it's all going to be okay."

Continuing the lengthy response, she admitted that she was "not thrilled" about "not feeling my legs part" in the procedure. However, Kramer maintained her decision not to set herself up "with anxiety already thinking about that."

Kramer had previously put her social media followers on their toes when she announced that she and her husband, Allan Russell are expecting a boy. As reported by The Blast, the expectant mother had taken to Instagram, where she uploaded multiple adorable images of herself, her man, and her children.

While the first three slides featured the entire family joyfully launching blue confetti to indicate the gender of their unborn child, the fourth showcased the lovebirds sharing a kiss, and the fifth was of the author and her girlfriends.

Beneath the pictures, Kramer gushed, "It's a BOY," along with a string of blue heart emojis. As expected, the good news brought her followers and fellow celebrities out of the shadows and they camped in the comment section to celebrate.
