Lily Allen 'Slammed' For Being Such A Pretty Mom In Daringly Sheer Dress

Singer, songwriter, and actor Lily Allen has taken a step back from the world of music! She's currently concentrating on acting, with her latest being a lead role in a West End revival of “The Pillowman" playing in London for another two weeks. Of course, Allen is nothing but cheeky as she goes bare under a sheer dress in one of her recent stage looks!

Allen is onstage these days, playing a lead role in a 2003 play by the “Banshees of Inisherin” writer and director Martin McDonagh. The play runs at The Duke of York’s Theater through Sept. 2 and many of Allen's 1.6 million followers have not only seen the play but also raved about it.

Of course, what they are truly raving about is also Allen herself, who has been showcasing various stage looks on her Instagram for her fans. The latest being her braless in a sheer metallic dress that kept her bare till the waist before having a darker underskirt! Finally, the whole look was topped off by feathers on the skirt and on the sleeves which Allen highlighted in her caption, "Everyday I’m rufflin’, Everyday I’m rufflin’. Some Stage looks for your perusal, only 2 more weeks!"

She displayed several other looks as well, one with a white lacy top and a pair of shorts. Wrote one fan, clearly impressed with the 28-year-old, "The hell. What a body! You are a mum and ur still so pretty. Live "My thoughts exactly". Greetz outta Berlin, Kate."

More comments followed, "These stage door looks are the serve of the century" and "All hail the natural b--bs!" A fan who seemed to have caught the play, but not Allen was a little disappointed, writing, "still gutted to not have seen one of these looks in person despite catching show twice… would it be mad to come after the show I haven’t bought for just for experience?!?"

Earlier this month, Lily Allen had a "funny" vacation story to share during her appearance on Alan Carr’s "Life’s a Beach" podcast. When the singer, who is mother to two daughters went on a vacation to Brazil, she "went missing."

Apparently, Allen was on a quest to lose her virginity at 12 years, and she did to a guy named Fernando. That said because she was not in her hotel room and had not told her dad, actor Keith Allen, her family got the police involved when they saw her missing.

Said the "Smile" singer, "I went to his hotel room, and I was on holiday with my dad and my brother and obviously didn’t come back to my room. I had sort of slept in the next morning and I woke up the next day there were police all over the hotel. They were literally combing the beach and they had T-shirts, they’re like, 'Is this what she was wearing?' People thought I had drowned. I didn’t have the heart to say, 'No, I was just losing my virginity.'"

Given that there was a whole furor about the thing, Allen laughed, "It was a little bit traumatizing. I didn’t have sex for a while after that" and never spoke to Fernando again.

Allen’s humor stems from an inner turmoil that has now calmed down, given that she’s four years sober and also married to “Stranger Things” actor David Harbour, 48. She has a longtime stalker, had a stillbirth, and used to drink a lot. Now, she and Harbour, as well as her two daughters from her previous marriage live a pretty leisurely life before he pushed her into taking the lead role in “The Pillowman” which has been winning her rave reviews on her performance.

Allen plays Katurian, played by a female actor for the first time. Katurian is a writer being questioned about a string of child murders that resemble her fictional stories. The play is both dark and comic, with the former shining through when Allen’s character is verbally and physically abused by two detectives.

Only two weeks are left for the play, and these looks that Allen keeps serving!
