Bella Hadid recently posted a look back into her March, around the time she was undergoing some intensive treatment for Lyme disease. Apparently, the supermodel took a break to reconnect with her love for equestrian sport, given that she's also an expert rider. Hadid even aimed for the Olympics but ended up giving up the sport, professionally, given her health struggles back in 2016.

In an interview, Hadid called the sport both a passion and a chance to learn. The 26-year-old stated that it "stemmed from my mom's love of horses. I have been riding since I could walk and the fact that my mom knew everything about horses really helped my passion grow."

Plus, she said it helped her, like yoga, "You know how every model is like, 'I do yoga.' Well, I find horses have the same effect. You have to put your ego aside and concentrate on making the horse do the things you want it to do, and move in the way you want it to move."

On Saturday, Bella Hadid let her nearly 60 million followers have a sneak peek into her everlasting love for horses, riding, and Mexican soda pop Jarritos. She posted several carousels of pictures and videos shot at Wellington International, an equestrian club in Wellington, Florida.

Hadid posted a health update earlier this month, writing how "Living in this state, worsening with time and work" took a mental toll on her, on top of her physical issues. She also wrote how, now, "I am okay and you do not have to worry" because this "exact moment I’m in right now, with all of you, finally healthy."

Fans were happy to see her back in the saddle, looking healthy as one of her fan accounts wrote, "Bella!!!! you have no idea how much happiness you make us feel seeing you better. We missed you so much and our days are better knowing that you are too. We love love love YOU."

Bella also mentioned, by name, all the horses she rode, writing, "Thank you to all the great trainers and people who allowed me to ride their incredible horses🙏🏽 And my Lucy, Blue, Ami 🤍

Apart from horses, there's also Bella's pooch who she thanked, writing, "And God Bless my Angel

Glizzy P. Beans aka Petunia aka Beans. For never leaving my side not for one second."

Clearly, having the love of a "furry angel" is in itself a big healer.

Hadid also showcased positivity as she put up a carousel of pictures showing her ill and taking treatment, writing, "The universe works in the most painful and beautiful ways but I need to say that if you are struggling- it will get better. I promise. take a step away, stay strong, have faith in your path, walk in your truth and the clouds will start to clear up. I have so much gratitude for and perspective on life, this 100+ days of Lyme, chronic disease, co-infection treatment, and almost 15 years of invisible suffering, was all worth it if I’m able to, God willing, have a lifetime of spreading love from a full cup and being able to truly be myself, For the first time ever."

We're guessing, Petunia is woofing to that!
