Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell have unique parenting styles, and they are unfazed if their style does not resonate with the public.

The two celebrities, who began dating in 2007 and married in October 2013, share two beautiful daughters, Lincoln, 9, and Delta, 8. While the couple have been married for ten years, they have remained ever in love and focused on nurturing their family.

Amid the recent backlash the duo has been facing for their parenting method, Shepard decided to set the record straight with a clear message.

Dax Shepard Is In Support Of His Children Drinking Non-Alcoholic Beers!

The ''Hit and Run'' actor not only adores his wife, Bell, but he also has her back regardless of the situation the actress finds herself in.  Proving his unwavering loyalty to his wife, Shepard shunned naysayers after they criticized the ''Veronica Mars'' actress for revealing the type of drinks her daughters' take.

Taking to his "Armchair Expert" podcast he co-hosts with its co-creator, Monica Padman, the filmmaker maintained that he and Bell would not stop allowing their girls to take non-alcoholic beers because of the criticisms they received.

Shepard remarked, ''If anyone has a problem that I let my kids drink NA beer sometimes, that's fine with me. I'm not going to change based on what anybody else says because this is our family and not your business.''

The disapproval from the public started after the ''Frozen'' actress disclosed on ''The Kelly Clarkson'' show that she allows her daughters to drink non-alcoholic beers.

She said, ''We've been at restaurants where she's said, 'Do you have any non-alcoholic beer?' And I'm like, maybe we just keep that for home time.''

''But then I'm sort of like, you can judge me if you want, I'm not doing anything wrong. That's your problem, she added.

Bell, buttressing her point, recalled how her husband would often have a bottle of non-alcoholic beer while taking care of Lincoln, their older daughter when she was an infant.

In her words, ''[Dax is] is a recovering addict, but he likes non-alcoholic beer, so he'd pop one open, he'd have [Lincoln] on his chest, and we'd walk and look at the sunset. As a baby, she was pawing at it, and sometimes she'd suck on the rim of it. So I think it feels to her like something special, something daddy, something family.''

Additionally, the couple discussed the situation during an August episode on the actor's podcast while giving the reason they indulge their children in taking the drink.

Addressing her husband, Bell said, ''What's so cute about you to me is that you are so logical and fact-driven and evidence-based – but if people want to be angry about something, they're going to be angry about it.''

The actress continued, ''When they have tried to order [non-alcoholic beers] at a restaurant or something, it's because of a very specific connection to you. Because first of all, they're educated on addiction and what substances are and how they affect your body and how scary they are and what they can do to you.''

Being a recovering addict himself, it appears Shepard is in a better position to ensure that his children do not consume any substance harmful to their bodies.

The 'Idiocracy' Actor Applauded Bell For Educating Their Daughters About Sex

Although Shepard and the 43-year-old actress are cool parents, they do not take sex education lessons with their children with levity. Per The Blast, the couple, in their parenting mode, found an ''ingenious'' way to explain the meaning of sex to their daughters without making the topic complicated or awkward.

During an episode on the actor's podcast, ''Armchair Expert,'' Shepard credited Bell as the mastermind behind the brilliant idea. He noted that the actress found a subtle way to inform their daughters that they are in charge of intimacy with their partners.

He revealed that the ''Gossip Girl'' actress told the girls, ''The woman takes the man's penis and puts it in her vagina. Right away, it's like you're in charge of this and you will decide to put this in your vagina. Not the man puts his penis in your vagina.''

The ''Baby Mama'' actor added that the approach was a ''subtle'' way to let his daughters know, ''you're in the driver's seat.'' The dad of two further insisted that he does not want his daughters to ''have sex so that they can get approval from somebody.''

''But if my daughters are horny and want to have sex, that was my favorite activity. It remains my favorite activity. I'd be lying if I said I was in any way anti that activity. I am anti getting esteemed from that activity but that's it for me,'' Shepard admitted.
