Following the breakup announcement, made by both Bristowe and Tartick in a joint Instagram post, the “Bachelor” alum took to her Instagram Stories to share a selfie, which looks as though she has been crying, with the words “See you soon. Bye for now.”
In a second Instagram Story, Bristowe wrote, “If everyone can say some sort of prayer for both of our hearts we would love that. I just know social media can be awful so taking a little break.”
Now, just a week and a half later, the 38-year-old has returned to Instagram, sharing that "everything will be okay".
"Not to spoil the ending for you. But you’re going to be ok ❤️," she wrote alongside a series of photos, including a selfie, a bouquet of flowers, and a photo of herself crying.

Just days before announcing her split from Jason Tartick, rumors began circulating that the two had broken up after Kaitlyn Bristowe took to Instagram to share her new single, “If I’m Being Honest”.
“Just cause I’m an open book, don’t mean you get the whole story,” the lyrics read. “And if I’m being honest, I’m not always as tough as I seem. And I can have my moments, but words can get the best of me.”
“And the words that I say to myself are the ones that hit the hardest, if I’m being honest,” the song continued.

Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tatrick first started dating in 2019 and the pair got engaged in 2021. Earlier this month, the two took to Instagram to announce they have made the decision to split.
“After sharing the news with family and close friends first, and taking the time to properly process it ourselves, we are saddened with heavy hearts to share that we have decided to end our engagement,” the pair wrote on social media. “We are thankful for all of you who gave us the time and space to process this life altering decision as there are many emotions and changes to navigate.”
The pair continued to explain how they plan to remain friends and will continue to care for their two dogs, Ramen and Pinot, together. “Our dogs Ramen & Pinot will continue to be cared for together as brothers,” they wrote. “While their humans are no longer romantically involved, we will love and take care of them together.”
“Continuing our friendship is incredibly important to both of us. We feel grateful to be ending our engagement with love and respect for each other,” they continued. “It’s heartbreaking and sad to say goodbye, but our care and admiration for one another will never die.”
Tartick and Bristowe concluded with, “We are beyond thankful for the memories made together, and for your support of us and the boys throughout the years. Moving forward we will always have that level of support for each other. We don’t know what the future holds so please try to hold space for us in your hearts.”
