Bella Thorne Marks 1-Year Anniversary With Fiancé Mark Emms During PDA Display

Bella Thorne and her fiancé Mark Emms cannot stop swooning over each other as they celebrate a special day in their lives.

The pair started their romance in August 2022 after they met at Cara Delevingne's birthday party in Ibiza. And as the couple would later reveal to a media publication, it was love at first sight for them. 

After nine months of dating, Emms took the actress by surprise after he popped the ''Will you marry me?'' question to her on May 13 at her home in California. Recently, the lovebirds marked a year of being in love!

Since their private engagement, Emms and Thorne have been spending quality time together, including going on date nights and getaway vacations. For their one-year anniversary, the pair celebrated it romantically as Thorne took to her Instagram stories to share a picture and a short clip of how they spent their day.

In the heartwarming snap, Emms was captured smiling brightly for the camera as he posed next to a large bouquet of roses as well as an assortment of red and pink balloons.

The film and TV producer stood in a blue-painted room and donned a black T-shirt and a black face cap paired with blue jeans. 

Also featured in the background of the snap was a bottle of Azul. Above the picture, the ''Shake It Up'' actress added a caption to the post that read, ''Celebrating one year!!" She further uploaded a short clip displaying herself and her man cozying up to each other while standing inside a luxurious bedroom. 

A lovestruck Emms did not take his gaze away from the beautiful actress while he gently placed his hands on her arms. In the video, he sported a different attire and opted for an all-black ensemble consisting of a T-shirt and tailored trousers. He complemented his fit by wearing black leather shoes.  

On the other hand, Thorne served as a fashion inspiration to her 25.2 million followers as she stunned in denim shorts as well as a fitted black corset top. The ''Midnight Sun'' actress layered the ensemble with a semi-sheer, black cover-up that fell towards her ankles and was fastened with string at the front.

She elevated her outfit by wearing a pair of open-toed, black strappy heels, giving her a classy look. Opting for minimal accessories, she wore a pair of large dangly earrings. The ginger-haired beauty styled her tresses in a middle part and allowed her natural waves to cascade down her shoulders.

From the clip, fans could gather that the pair were smitten by each other and are grateful to still be together. For their low-key engagement, the couple kept it a private affair for a while before revealing the news to their fans on social media.

The talented actress initially disclosed her engagement with Emms during a cover shoot with ''Vogue Weddings,'' before announcing the news on Instagram. The sweet proposal was carried out on Mother's Day, and Thorne also revealed during the interview that she plans to have a country wedding at a manor somewhere in the United Kingdom.

She further teased the idea of having multiple outfits for the wedding day, especially dresses from vintage Dior or Schiaparelli. In her words, ''Every bride does not need one gown but four!"

For her Instagram reveal, she included a photo of herself and her man together and made sure to flaunt her 10-plus carat emerald cut diamond ring.

The lovers posed in matching white shirts, while in another picture, the ''Time Is Up'' actress looked breathtaking, wearing a bikini and sarong combo for a selfie on the patio.

Aside from being a loving partner to the 25-year-old actress and a film and TV producer, Emms is a British native and a successful entrepreneur.

Per Hollywood Life, the entrepreneur, who is 44 years old, founded his first company, Fire Global Media Productions, in 2008 and later liquidated the creative agency in 2019 before starting his current production company, Eastern Road Films LLC, the same year.

Interestingly, Emms has worked with some of the biggest companies throughout his career, such as Lionsgate, Netflix, Spotify, YouTube, 20th Century Fox, and many more. He has also collaborated with some of the hottest stars, according to his Linkedin profile.

The British native is the producer behind the Netflix docuseries, ''Bad Vegan: Fame, Fraud, Fugitives.'' The true crime story recounts how ''Sarma Melngailis,'' a once-awarded vegan restaurateur behind the now-shuttered New York's Pure Food & Wine, got involved with and married a con man named Shane Fox.

Recounting how he got to produce the series, he remarked, ''I couldn't believe what I was hearing, it was the most bizarre and surreal story I'd ever heard, and I had to try and make sense of it.''

He added, "How and why did this nightmare happen to someone like Sarma? It was also a story that I found deeply shocking and cruel, and it felt important that it be told to a wider audience.''
