Lindsay Lohan's Stepmom Files for Divorce from Lindsay Lohan's Dad

Everyone in the world was pulling for the relationship to work, but in the long run, Palm Beach County's hottest celebrity couple is calling it quits ... again.
Kate Major Lohan filed for divorce on Wednesday from Michael Lohan in Florida, according to documents obtained by The Blast. In her filing, she describes the marriage as "irretrievably broken."
Kate wants majority custody of the couple's two children, but is willing to share the legal responsibility with Lohan.
She's also asking for both spousal and child support, and for Lohan to cover all her legal expenses.
The former couple has had their share of squabbles — most recently when Kate was arrested for throwing a glass candle at Lohan during an argument that left him with an impressive mark. Those charges were later dropped after it was determined there was not enough evidence. And Lohan said he did not want her prosecuted.
Lohan and Kate first met when she was still working as an entertainment news reporter, and met through Lindsay Lohan. The couple eventually got engaged over Easter in 2010. They were married in October 2014.
Michael Lohan tells The Blast:
Kate and I went to a mediation attorney to work out the terms of the divorce but her lawyer pulled a fast one and went behind my back. I guess he wants publicity and to make money. Isn't that always the case? After all, he's doing it for nothing and asking for legal fees from me. Hmmmm! Case and point!
If he wants publicity, he'll get it but what I have is 10 times more than the world has seen. I'm not out to sling mud or prove my case, but he better think twice before he destroys his client.
We may be seeing the end of an era.
