Disney is getting ready to unveil their latest addition to their roster of royalty and are making sure to handle the most important part -- merchandising!

Earlier this year there were reports Disney had picked up a pitch for a live-action project called, "Sadé," about an African girl receiving magical powers and using it to save her kingdom.

According to documents, obtained by The Blast, Disney recently filed to lock up 13 trademarks for "PRINCESS SADE." The products the House of Mouse is looking to push includes everything from clothes and toys, to bed linens and cosmetics. They also cover tons of snack foods for kids, like pizza, cereal, candy, waffles and banana chips.

Luckily Disney isn't just focusing on junk food and toys, because they also list that they want to use Princess Sadé to promote education.

Princess Sadé will be the first African female led feature for Disney. 2009's "The Princess and the Frog" introduced the world to Tiana, who was the first African-American Disney Princess.

No announcements for the cast have been announced, but it's possible Disney is close to revealing more about the film now that they're moving on the intellectual property.
