Lovato Tackled The Overturning Of Roe v Wade Landmark's Case With Pro-Choice Anthem

While the ''Stone Cold'' singer had fun turning some of her hits songs into rock versions, she also used her talent to pass a message to the leaders in higher authority. Per The Blast, the singer wielded her influence to fight for women's rights through the release of her pro-choice anthem on the first anniversary of the Supreme Court, overturning the decision made in Roe v Wade.

Unfortunately, the Supreme Court, in a surprising twist, abolished the legality and constitutionality of abortion following the judgment given in the case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization in 2022.

Condemning the decision, Lovato announced the debut of her new song on Twitter with a snippet of the music video. In the 16 seconds heart-stopping clip, the songstress gyrated to the music played in the background while she lip-synced the lyrics.

For the video shoot, she wore a red gown, red fishnet leggings, and a black and red coat. The raven-haired beauty sported a wet look for her hairstyle.

Captioning the post, she wrote, "It's been one year since the Supreme Court's decision to dismantle the constitutional right to a safe abortion, and although the path forward will be challenging, we must continue to be united in our fight for reproductive justice.''

I want this song to empower not only the birthing people of this country but everyone who stands up for equality, to embrace their agency and fight for a world where every person's right to make decisions about their own body is honored.''

Lovato concluded by inserting the link to the video for her fans to click and watch. As expected, her post amassed over 15,000 likes, and her supporters trooped to her comments section to commend her for her outspokenness and courage.
