Zooey Deschanel Flaunts Unique Engagement Ring From Jonathan Scott: 'Forever Starts Now'

Zooey Deschanel has something huge to celebrate as she and her beloved Jonathan Scott are taking their relationship to another level.

The couple met while filming an episode of "Carpool Karaoke: The Series" in August 2019, and the following month, Deschanel separated from her second husband, Jacob Pechenik.

Despite being married twice before, the Grammy nominee had no doubts about getting serious with Scott, and now they are announcing their engagement with a proud display of Deschanel's exquisite engagement ring.

Deschanel and Scott recently announced their engagement on Instagram using a charming photo of the couple alongside a matching declaration that read: "Forever starts now!!! ?♾️?.” The lovebirds were captured in front of a stone structure with their faces touching and looking beyond delighted about their latest feat.

In addition, the bride-to-be raised her left hand, revealing nails colored different shades of pink while putting her engagement ring on full display, showing a connection of multiple shiny rocks.

Over a million devotees were taken with the announcement as they reacted with likes, and thousands took to the comments section to congratulate the soulmates. "This makes me so happy❤️❤️," one comment read, followed by another that stated, "That's so exciting! Congratulations!!!❤️❤️❤️." A third admirer exclaimed, "Welcome to the family, @zooeydeschane!!!" 

Similarly, one commenter gushed, "Aaaaahhhhhh finally, congratulations to my faves❤️❤️" before one more wrote, What!?!?! Oh my gosh, y'all! Congrats."

"1 million likes because it's SO MUCH LOVE. So happy for you, Zooey, and Jonathan!!!!❤️❤️❤️," an ensuing comment read, and one more followed: "So absolutely wonderful. ????Love you both. @zooeydeschanel❤️ @jonathanscott.” Others were more focused on the unique piece of jewelry.

One fan observed, "That ring is gonna unravel many a sweater! ✨ ?," while another gushed, "Aaaaahhhhhhhh so happy for you both!!! This is wonderful! What a beautiful ring too ❤️." This fan echoed a similar sentiment, writing, "Your your ring is stunning!! Big congratulations love birds ?."

Per reports, Scott proposed to Deschanel during a family trip to Scotland with the actress's kids, Elsie and Charlie, playing a part in the proposal. Deschanel and Scott's engagement comes in the wake of their celebration of four years together. Marking the milestone on Instagram, they penned heartwarming tributes beginning with the 45-year-old illusionist who was in the highest spirit.

The "Property Brothers" star uploaded a snap of himself and his partner holding each other and beaming at the camera, and in the caption, he declared: "500 days of @zooeydeschanel …actually, it's been a lot more, but who's counting anyway?. 4 years really flies by. Happy anniversary baby!!!" 

As expected, the comments section was filled with well wishes for the lovers. One such remark read, "Happy Anniversary to you two love birds!!! So happy for both of you! You make a beautiful couple!." 

An excited Deschanel dropped a matching tribute on her feed featuring another image of the couple grinning together. "4 years since I met this freaking dreamboat," she proclaimed in the caption. "I love him more every day. I'm forever grateful!" 

The Canadian TV personality took no time in commenting on her post, "You make me immensely happy. Every second of every day. I love the heck out of you."

As fans are aware, the newly engaged first met on James Corden's "Carpool Karaoke" in 2019, and at the time, they were filming with Scott's twin brother, Drew, and Deschanel's older sister, Emily.  After filming, they went on to build a connection with a series of texts and outings that soon turned into something romantic.

At the time of the "500 Days of Summer" actress's separation from her second husband, Jacob Pechenik, she was seen on a dinner date with Scott, prompting the circulation of rumors about their romance. They later confirmed the speculations in the same month by locking lips during a live episode of the dance show "Dancing with the Stars."

The partners' relationship has been filled with numerous celebrations over the years, including when they went Instagram official using a coordinated post. The update featured an image from Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights, where they went on a double date with the construction contractor's twin brother and his wife, Linda Phan.

Their relationship seemed serious as the "All the Real Girls" actress accompanied Scott to his older brother's Halloween-themed wedding in October 2019. In November of the same year, the pair made their red carpet debut at the Critic's Choice Documentary Awards and quarantined together the following year.

They also share a home that Scott described as "our dream home, where we'll see the kids grow up laughing and adventuring in the yard, where we'll play host to friends and family."
