Sammi' Sweetheart' 's Shocking 'Jersey Shore' Return
Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola officially returned to the "Jersey Shore" franchise, shockingthe fans ando the other cast members.
The original "Jersey Shore," which premiered in 2009, starred Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, Jenni "JWOWW" Farley, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Pauly "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio, Angelina Pivarnick, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, and Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola. Pivarnick left the show in season 2, in which Deena Cortese joined the cast.
After six seasons, the show ended in 2012 but was revived in 2018 and renamed "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation." All of the cast returned for the new show, aside from Giancola. The model tried to get "the sweetest b***h you'll ever meet" to come back onto the show, but Polizzi, a.k.a. "Snooki," said Giancola blocked her on social media.
"I went to message her a while ago, and she blocked me," Polizzi told E! News in September 2022. "I don't know what I did. It's unfortunate because we would love for her to come back. She's part of the show. I feel like it's not full unless all of us are there. It's sad."
Polizzi added, "We tried to get her back two years ago, all of us texting her saying, 'Come for one dinner. Why not?' she's always like, 'No, I'll never do that show again.' We didn't want to push it."
Giancola addressed the situation, explaining she did not want to go back to the "Jersey Shore" house to "avoid potentially toxic situations," seemingly hinting at her "toxic" relationship with Ronnie Ortiz-Magro. "I am not the same as I was when I was 22," she wrote on Instagram. "At 31, I am thrilled in every aspect of my life and want to avoid potentially toxic situations."
However, Sammi's 'Sweetheart' has changed her mind as she officially returned to "Jersey Shore," shocking both show fans and her cast mates.
