According to Radar Online, Kevin Spacey's financial stability is under threat due to the legal troubles that have plagued him in recent years.

The "House of Cards" alum reportedly spent nearly $1.3 million sorting out his legal fees to defend himself against sexual assault charges raised by four former acquaintances.

Ultimately, these expenditures yielded favorable results, as he was acquitted by a London court of all nine charges brought against him by those men.

However, while Spacey might currently still be in celebratory mode, he remains embroiled in at least two lawsuits from the individuals he was accused of assaulting, suggesting that his legal challenges are far from over.

Per a source, this means that Spacey's fortune, reportedly worth $30 million, is "at risk," perhaps due to the fact that he might have to pay more legal fees or shell out a huge amount of money to settle his accusers if he is found guilty.

"The frustrated accusers will be out for blood with the acquittal and are now taking the civil route, where the burden of proof is far lower than in criminal cases," noted the insider.

It comes after a teary-eyed Spacey thanked the jury for finding him not guilty on July 26 after a month-long trial at Southwark Crown Court in London.

The verdict seemingly got him emotional, not just because it guaranteed that he was a free man but also because he turned 64 on that day.

Speaking with the press after he made his way outside of the court, Spacey noted that the verdict left him "humbled."

"I imagine that many of you can understand that there's a lot for me to process after what has just happened today. But I would like to say that I'm enormously grateful to the jury for having taken the time to examine all of the evidence and all of the facts carefully before they reached their decision. And I am humbled by the outcome today," he told the news outlets, per CNN.

The court's decision marked a significant triumph for Spacey, who had confronted a series of accusations regarding sexual misconduct in the past few years.

These recent allegations spanned the years from 2004 to 2013, a period coinciding with Spacey's tenure as the artistic director of the Old Vic Theater in London.

Prior to being acquitted by the London Jury, the allegations deeply tarnished the actor's reputation, as no one wanted to be seen working with him.

He was fired from the Netflix series "House of Cards" in 2017, in which he had played the main character for over five seasons. He was also recast from the film "All the Money in the World" and dropped from "Call Me by Your Name."

As to a possible return to full-time acting, a source has revealed that the 64-year-old is making plans to do so. However, when he finally does, he will not be seen collaborating with any fellow actors and producers who have condemned him over the years.

The insider might be referring to stars like Ellen Barkin, Patricia Arquette, Alyssa Milano, and Mena Suvari, who called Spacey "creepy" and "weird" in the wake of the sexual allegations.

"There were friends who had his back, like Elton John, and he's eternally grateful. But Kevin's got a blacklist of everyone who threw him under the bus, and he will have his revenge," the source said, per Radar.
