Chrissy Teigen and her husband of ten years, John Legend, may be swamped with caring for their four children. However, they never run out of entertaining content for their fans.
The power couple have been together for nearly two decades as they got engaged in 2011 after dating for four years.
After all these years, they plan on making some changes in the bedroom, which Teigen revealed on social media while indicating she is not a fan of the idea.
Chrissy Teigen Laments About 'Switching Sides' In The Bedroom In New Instagram Story Update
In one of the supermodel's latest Instagram Story posts, she filmed herself complaining about having to switch sides with her husband on their bed. The video shows that the couple was both in bed, with Teigen on a pillow while Legend sat up against the headboard.
"Let me know if you think this is acceptable," Teigen said. "After seventeen years of sleeping together, John wants to switch sides." The award-winning musician found her statement funny as he could be heard chuckling in the background before she turned the camera to show him laughing.
"This is the side," he stated. "I'm on the right side right now. In response, the mom-of-four grumbled, "I know, but you want me to be on that side now, and I've been sleeping too well."
Legend, still amused, added, "My other shoulder needs some uh…" but did not complete the sentence before his wife squinted her eyes and ended the clip with "No one cares."Shedding more light on the situation, the 37-year-old TV personality wrote in an attached text, "When I sleep on the right, I sleep for like 12 hours which is too much
sleep." The lovebird's bedroom affair may prompt fans to recall advice Legend gave fellow parents about getting steamy in bed despite having a whole brood. He appeared on Alex Cooper's "Call Her Daddy" podcast back in March with the "best" tip that kept his sex life "alive and hot."
As seen in the teaser shared on Instagram, the Hollywood star's simple counsel was for parents to lock their doors if they had kids, as he and his wife always did so whenever they wanted to have a "good time."
Legend further discussed his relationship with his wife, whom he began dating in the early 2000s after meeting on the set of his music video for "Stereo."
The music video featured only the duo, so they spent the most time being "very up close and personal." Even so, they briefly called it quits on their relationship before getting engaged in 2011. Detailing the early stages of the married couple's relationship, the father-of-four divulged why it was difficult. He said:
"Me still being in my mid-20s and being like, you know, selfish. I'm thinking about my career, I'm thinking about just… what's going to be the best thing for me and not thinking of us as a couple as much."
Fortunately, they made their relationship work and produced four adorable kids, two of whom they welcomed this year. During a private concert, Legend announced one of the most recent births — his daughter Esti Maxine Stephens.
He told fans at the time that they welcomed "the baby this morning" and that although he "didn't get a lot of sleep," he felt "energized" after spending "a lot of time" at the hospital. Their fourth child, Wren Alexander Stephens, was welcome months later via a surrogate.
The Former 'Bring The Funny' Judge & Husband Were In No Rush In The Early Days Of Their Relationship
Teigen and Legend did not begin their romance with the notion that it would lead to marriage, as they were both just content to be in each other's lives.
They took things slow after the meeting in 2006. The following year, the couple visited Lake Como, Italy, for the first time, and at that point, the former "Lip Sync Battle" co-host knew she wanted to marry Legend.
In 2008, they made their red carpet debut at the Grammys, and three years later, the record producer went down on one knee to his sweetheart during a vacation in the Maldives.
Teigen and Legend tied the knot in September 2013 in a New York courthouse, a month after the release of "All of Me," which the singer-songwriter created in honor of his significant other. Days later, they had a second ceremony in Lake Como, Italy.
