Katy Perry's Real Estate War Brings Up Bad Memories For Deceased Nun's Nephew

Katy Perry is embroiled in a lawsuit over a home she allegedly forced a man to sell. This is digging up old feelings for a deceased nun’s nephew.

The high-profile pop star is looking like a genuine house stealer now that an old story has reminded fans that Perry has “stolen” a home from someone else. Brain Holzman, the nephew of the now-deceased Sister Catherine Rose Holzman, slammed Perry.

He reminded people that he still believes that Perry is the reason for his aunt’s passing. He wasn’t surprised at all when he saw her in the news, again for taking a house out from under someone. He further claimed he wasn’t surprised at how hard she was fighting, even knowing that Carl Westcott was bedridden.

Holzman described Perry as “a pretty evil woman,” to Radar Online, and launched into the story of what happened to his aunt in 2018.

Holzman insists that his aunt died from the stress around the back and forth of the convent she no longer wanted to sell to Perry. Ultimately, Perry won and bought the holy place for $14.5 million.

“It sounds like she is at it again,” Holzman claims. “She is who she is, and she’s going to do what she’s going to do. It’s all about money and greed!” the battle between Westcott. Perry and Orlando Bloom have been going on for three years now.

Westcott claims that he was in no condition to be signing papers to sell his home three days after going in for surgery related to Huntington’s Disease.

He notes that he was heavily medicated and when he tried to backtrack on the sale that technically wasn’t legal yet the eight-bedroom and 11-bathroom.

The couple's rep Bernie Gudvi apparently stepped in and went pretty hard on Westcott which push him to continue with the sale without feeling 100% comfortable about it. “The combination of his age, frailty from his back condition and recent surgery, and the opiates he was taking several times a day rendered Mr. Westcott of unsound mind,” claims the rep for Westcott.

a legal letter claiming he’s “obligated to complete the sale” because the couple is “not willing to walk away,” was sent to Westcott making him uneasy. Now Perry and Bloom seem like even worse people for pushing forward with the trial knowing that Westcott physically can’t make it because of his illness.

As for the nun who died while battling Perry for her convent, the story has similarities. The nun literally collapsed and DIED in the middle of a court hearing with Perry over the sale of her 8-acre home where the Sisters of the Most Holy and Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary lived for around four decades.

Sister Catherine and Sister Rita Callanan fought against the Archdiocese and Perry for as long as they could but eventually lost the war against evil. Sister Callanan told the Daily Beast in 2018 ahead of her passing.

“I just feel that Katy Perry is used to getting all she wants, and to her, money means everything, and to her, whatever Katy wants, Katy gets. Once Sister Cathrine passed Callanan stated that Perry “has blood on her hands.”
