Kimora Lee Simmons Quiets The Noise In Japan Getaway With Her Kids

Kimora Lee Simmons has prioritized quality family time with her five kids.

The 48-year-old entrepreneur seemingly took her plans to quiet the noise up several notches from simply limiting comments on her social media posts. She took her family on a trip to Japan and shared multiple photos of the family relishing the diverse culinary delights and attractions of the East Asian country.

Still taking advantage of the remaining days before summer ends, Kimora and her five children— Aoki, Ming, Kenzo, Wolfe, and Gary — took a trip to Japan. She ensured that fans got a glimpse at the fun-filled visit by posting a carousel of shots to Instagram, starting with a stand-alone view of her flawless self.

She donned a gray tank top over a pair of blue jeans and accessorized with a silver necklace and multiple bangles. She pulled her hair into a bun at the back, staring fiercely at the camera as she posed in front of a large lobster decoration. 

Her first son, Kenzo, made an appearance in the next image, placing his hand around his mother's shoulders while smiling goofily. The teen reappeared in a group picture alongside Kimora and his sisters, with a majority of them wearing black round-neck shirts.

While the fourth slide featured an unidentified man holding up Japanese cuisine, the fifth showcased the mother-of-five posing with a piece of fruit. Gray happily observed his brothers, Wolfe and Kenzo, welding sugar gliders on their arms in a store, before their mother held what appeared like a hedgehog in her palms.

Other slides included a view of Kimora snapping a floral display, a selfie with Ming and a friend, Ambria Whitlock, and an image of the former eating. Beneath the media overload, the television personality typed, 'Ohayo gozaimasu ???????,' which is a formal Japanese greeting that means 'Good morning.' 

Reacting excitedly to the post, one netizen wrote in the comments, 'look at all these kids- where's the mother - lol!!' and another noted, 'Oh that first slide is giving typical 90s teen go-see modeling picture.'

'OMG kimora I grew up watching you, and you are still gorgeous,' a third fan gushed, as a fourth chimed, "Aging backward. Honey please drop the skincare regimen #agingbackwards." Similarly, a fifth person wanted to know, 'How is she aging backwards?,' and a sixth declared, 'Kimora really out here not aging at all man.'

Before getting praised for her beauty, the 'Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane' alum addressed the unending feud between her and her ex-husband, Russell Simmons. The Blast noted that she got the opportunity when she attended the second day of the annual Essence Festival of Culture in New Orleans in July donning a gold minidress, matching heeled sandals, and a minimal face beat. 

During her backstage interview, she disclosed, "I'm okay. I'm always okay. I'm a tough chic, I'm a single mom of five kids, that's why I'm here because so many women are here. So much Black girl joy, brown girl joy. all the shades of joy. So it just feels good for me to be in a room like this."

The biggest showdown between Kimora and Russell occurred when the latter filed a lawsuit accusing his ex-wife and her current husband Tim Leissner of allegedly transferring his shares of the energy drink called Celsius.

He claimed that the lovebirds acted that way because they wanted to pay a bond in connection with the federal criminal charges against Leissner. As a rebuttal, Kimora, through a rep expressed:

"Kimora and her children are shocked by the extortive harassment coming from her ex-husband, Russell Simmons, who has decided to sue her for shares and dividends of Celsius stock in which Kimora and Tim Leissner invested millions of dollars."

After calling the lawsuit an 'ill-advised attempt by Russell to use the legal system to access funds he is in no way entitled to,' the 'Fabulosity: What It Is & How to Get It' author's team continued:

"Russell will be held accountable for his serial abuse and we will confront his baseless claims that he is warranted Celsius stock dividends despite his self-admitted zero contribution. This extortion attempt is especially egregious given that Russell remains contractually in debt to Kimora for millions of dollars in unpaid business loans."

'Our team is actively working to put a firm end to his harassment, which continues despite Russell having fled the country – he will face his own reckoning in the US court,' Kimora's team further confirmed.
