Scorsese was also known for working with Robertson and The Band on the 1970's concert film, "The Last Waltz."

The stacked concert featured musicians from Neil Young to Bob Dylan, to Joni Mitchell. The show was The Band's last performance, and was filmed on Thanksgiving Day in 1976, and released two years later.
