"Robbie was surrounded by his family at the time of his death, including his wife, Janet, his ex-wife Dominique, her partner Nicolas, and his children Alexandra, Sebastian, Delphine, and Delphine's partner Kenny," the statement began, per Variety. "He is also survived by his grandchildren Angelica, Donovan, Dominic, Gabriel, and Seraphina. Robertson recently completed his fourteenth film music project with frequent collaborator Martin Scorsese, 'Killers Of The Flower Moon.' In lieu of flowers, the family have asked that donations be made to support a new Woodland Cultural Center," the statement concluded.
The latest photo on Robertson's Instagram account appears to have been posted this morning: a photo of the musician's memoir, "Testimony." He posted a vintage photo yesterday in honor of International Cat Day.
Scorsese was also known for working with Robertson and The Band on the 1970's concert film, "The Last Waltz."
The stacked concert featured musicians from Neil Young to Bob Dylan, to Joni Mitchell. The show was The Band's last performance, and was filmed on Thanksgiving Day in 1976, and released two years later.
