Snoop Dogg Applauds Son for Quitting Football After Researching CTE

One of Snoop Dogg's many passions, other than hip-hop, is football. He's been a huge ambassador to the game for years, and even runs his own youth football league.
But now, Snoop says he's worried about the dangers of CTE and is happy his own son got out of the game while still healthy. He made the revelation to Wendy Williams on her talk show after she asked his feelings on son Cordell Broadus quitting football.
In 2016, Cordell made headlines when he quit the UCLA football team twice during the summer. Snoop admits he was upset at first, but then says he started researching CTE and now believes "My son is very smart for getting out early and maintaining his mind-state."
His appearance on The Wendy Williams Show airs Wednesday, and the rapper also spills the tea on the smoking habits of Tamar Braxton, who co-stars with Snoop in his upcoming theatrical stage debut, "Redemption of a Dogg."
