Former quarterback Tom Brady just got back from his recent visit to Africa with his children, calling it “an incredible trip”.

The 46-year-old future Hall of Famer took to Instagram to share a photo dump from his time in Africa, sharing details surrounding his trip.

Tom Brady took to social media to share some photos from his time in Africa, as well as sharing details surrounding his recent trip, which he took with two of his children.

“What an incredible trip to the most amazing continent…Africa ???,” he began. “It was another special reminder that life is TRULY about relationships and memories…This past week of my birthday I have had much time to reflect and be grateful for all the incredible blessings. I couldn’t imagine growing up as a boy in San Mateo that my life would become what it has… I’ve experienced quite a bit in the first 45 years I have lived, and what I have loved most is the people who I have shared the most life changing events with….my children, my family, my loved ones and friends and all of you have added so much to this incredible/adventurous life.”

Tom Brady Shares Details On His Next Chapter

Brady went on to share two quotes that he plans to begin his next chapter with. “To wake up to sunrises and untouched parts of our beautiful planet, to witness these animals in all their glory, to see how different people can live with true joy and happiness continues to bring me great lessons in learning,” he wrote. “Anyone who knows me knows I love quotes….I have two in my mind that I want to begin this next chapter with. They are profoundly meaningful to me and maybe you will like them as well!”

Those two quotes were “The life you lead, is the lesson you teach” and “If I am not for myself, who will be for me? If I am not for others, what am I?”

The former NFL quarterback went on to say, “I’ve had them in my mind for some time, and I will continue to bring them with me on this journey of life. Thank you all for your love and support these first 45 years….I am taking these next days one at a time, focusing on being my best self for me, and others, and living a life of integrity and purpose.”

Gisele Bündchen Comments On Brady’s Post

Brady and Brazilian fashion model Gisele Bündchen announced their divorce last year after 13 years of marriage. The two remain in touch and continue to co-parent their children together. Bündchen commented on Brady’s post, “?.”

Last year, shortly after the news broke, Brady took to Instagram to comment on the difficult decision. “In recent days, my wife and I finalized our divorce from one another after 13 years of marriage,” he said. “We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together. We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve,” Brady continued to write on his Instagram Story.

“We arrived at this decision to end our marriage after much consideration. Doing so, is, of course, painful and difficult, like it is for many people who go through the same thing every day around the world. However we wish only the best for each other as we pursue whatever new chapters in our lives that are yet to be written,” he continued.

Brady concluded with, “And we kindly as for privacy and respect as we navigate what is to come in the days and weeks ahead. Thank you.”
