By Taylor Hodgkins on August 10, 2023 at 6:00 AM EDT
The time has come yet again: Taylor Swift fans are trying to get tickets to 'Eras Tour' shows for recently announced dates!
Swift's blockbuster tour- her first in half a decade- began earlier this year and began generating headlines even earlier. Fans began encountering issues as soon as tickets first went on sale. Perspective buyers experienced hurdles while trying to buy from Ticketmaster including multiple crashes. The debacle would result in Swift's fanbase of 'Swifties' coming together to sue the ticket giant; Ticketmaster would later apologize. The "Better Than Revenge" singer would also speak out against Ticketmaster.
In spite of the drama from the recent past, Swifties have found themselves face-to-face with the outlet once again as Swift has added multiple new dates to the tour, including six in Toronto, Canada. Just as they did before, Swifties are taking to social media to express their elation and air their grievances from their time fighting in the 'Great War!'

Nearly a week ago, the "Daylight" singer brought some sunshine to her fans- the 33-year-old songstress announced additional US shows after she completes the global portion of her tour. The Eras Tour has been one to remember: a satellite company recently took photos from above, showcasing the crowd and the many vehicles present from a recent show in Denver!
The "Red" singer announced she would be accompanied by Gracie Abrams for the additional dates in her Instagram post regarding the additional dates; She'll be stopping in Florida, Indiana and Louisiana for the US portion. Canadian fans expressed their irritation that Swift is seemingly only visiting one city in Canada. All of these dates will take place next year.

Many Swifties took to X to share their stories. The volume of tweets brought "Ticketmaster" to trending status on Tuesday afternoon.
"Hi Ticketmaster," one Swiftie began their tweet, "I have anxiety. On a normal, happy, sunny day I get anxious over the smallest thing. Please have mercy and start sending emails to my besties so we can all breathe," they pleaded.

"DO NOT SEND ME EMAILS TODAY IF YOU'RE NOT TICKETMASTER OR TAYLOR SWIFT," another Swiftie begged.

"i'm so nervous about the actual sale but i mean taylor and tree definitely tore ticketmaster a new one, i feel like they at least have to try a little to make it less s****y this time around," a Swiftie pondered.
"Waiting for a ticketmaster verified fan email is like being an 18 year old man in good health in 1945 waiting to be drafted," a Swiftie declared.

"I hate that they call it VERIFIED fan. Where are you verifying people that sign up are fans> Ticketmaster should not get decide which ones of us are 'verified' fans. Literally just call it what it is- randomly selected person," a Swiftie said.
"getting irrationally angry at every company who emails me today because they're not Ticketmaster telling me I've been selected as a Taylor Swift verified fan," a Swiftie declared, along with a disgusted emoji.
"I seriously think somewhere out there is an office full of Ticketmaster employees laughing maniacally and just debating how long they can possibly drag this out," another theorized.

"It's 2023 and for some reason we continue to let Ticketmaster decide who is allowed to buy tickets to a concert??? Why do they just get to pick whoever they want to get to go to these shows? How is there not a better process that guarantees real fans get tickets?" a Swiftie asked.
I’m starting to think this is Ticketmaster’s punishment for our hate campaign after last time
