Catherine Zeta-Jones Reminds Fans Of Youthful Beauty As She Celebrates Son's Birthday With Throwback Pic

Age has nothing on Welsh actress Catherine Zeta-Jones’ beauty! 

Over the years, the “Wednesday” star, who married Veteran actor Michael Douglas has been wowing fans with her natural beauty. And this beauty has been there since the actress’s younger days. The actress recently reminded fans of her youth as she celebrated her son’s 23rd birthday. 

The Welsh actress marked her son Dylan’s big day with the sweetest tribute, which she posted to her Instagram. The post featured a throwback photo showing a younger Zeta-Jones cradling her son, who was then a newborn. For the shot, the stunning actress went topless, and her dark curls fell down her shoulders.

She spotted a makeup-free face letting her natural beauty radiate.  In the caption, the doting mom left a sweet message for her boy. She wrote, “23 years ago today, my boy @dylan__douglas was born. He is the gift that keeps on giving, over and over and over and over again. I love you, my love.”

As expected, the post gained lots of reaction from fans who raved about Zeta-Jones’ youthful beauty while sending the birthday boy good wishes.  One fan gushed, “Awwwww... you were beautiful then, Mrs @catherinezetajones, and you’re still beautiful now. Dylan was so cute then, and he is handsome now. Happy Birthday to him.”

Another fan remarked, “This shot is priceless. All beauty and love! Happy birthday Dylan!” A third follower commented, “This photo is stunning. Thank you for sharing. Cheers to your baby’s birthday!” 

This is not the first time Zeta-Jones has shared heartwarming moments with her son Dylan. In June, the “Wednesday” actress uploaded a lovely video she made with her son while they vacationed in the Caribbean. The short clip shared on her Instagram revealed her waltzing on the beach with her firstborn.

As seen in the clip, the “Chicago” actress wore a sheer black and white mini-dress over a black swim piece and accessorized with sunglasses. Meanwhile, Dylan opted to go shirtless, wearing only bright red swimming shorts and a black face cap. Mother and son held on to each other lovingly as they waltzed to the eccentric blues. 

Captioning the post, the mom of two penned, “Monday Mood! To always waltz with my son on a beach.” The Tony Award winner and her husband welcomed Dylan in 2000, and they tied the knot that same year. Three years later, they had a daughter Carys. However, the “Ant-man” actor has one son, Cameron, his previous marriage to Diandra Luker. 

Last year, while attending the L. A premiere of “Wednesday,” with her first son, Zeta-Jones reflected on her marriage to Douglas. During the conversation on the red carpet, the “Traffic” star was asked what she learned about marriage and love over the years. 

Zeta-Jones replied, “I thank my lucky stars every day that I picked the right guy.” She then praised the “Wall Street” actor, saying, “I lucked out big time. He’s a wonderful husband. He’s a wonderful father. He happens to be a wonderful actor. But for us, he’s just Michael. 

Speaking on how long their union has been, the “Entrapment” actress exclaimed, “I can’t believe it has been 22 years, but then when you see this guy [pointing at Dylan], you go, ‘Yeah, 22 years… that makes sense.”

Dylan, who was by his mom’s side, gushed about her role in the hit Netflix series and his love for Burton’s work. He said, “I think the first [Burton film] my mom showed me was ‘Edward Scissorhands,’ and that’s a great film. I’ve seen so much of Tim Burton’s work, and I love it, and for him to do his first tv show… ‘The Addams Family,’ for him to ‘Burton-fy’ it is just so exciting.”

The youngster further shared his excitement to see his mom playing the role of Morticia in the show, saying it’s all “pretty cool!” Dylan’s excitement caused his mom to smile brightly at him before playfully saying, “I am cool for two minutes.” She also spoke about her Morticia character, describing her as an “iconic woman” and a “matriarch.”

Zeta-Jones stated, “She’s such a pop culture image for me. I wanted to just exude her, not try and be somebody else’s interpretation. This particular version of this world is very rooted in modern-day reality, which makes it very cool and funny. Also, weirdly enough, very close to the original.”
