Bullock has had a vivid dating history, given she went around with the likes of Ryan Gosling and Matthew McConaughey before getting married to West Coast Choppers’ founder, Jesse James. The marriage ended in 2010 after James was accused of having affairs by multiple women.

The “Speed” actress first met Bryan Randall, who was a model-turned-photographer when he photographed her son Louis's birthday in January 2015. Sparks flew and the two began dating, cementing their relationship by going public later the same year. They have been together since then, and Bullock admitted that he was the ONE for her, during an appearance on the “Red Table Talk” with Jada Pinkett Smith, her mom, Adrienne Banfield-Norris, and daughter, Willow Smith.

Said the normally reticent actress, “I found the love of my life. We share two beautiful children— three children, [Randall's] older daughter. It's the best thing ever.” Bullock is mother to son Louis, 13, and daughter Laila, 11, whom she adopted in 2010 and 2015, respectively.

Bullock also went on to say that while she didn’t feel that other women should also follow what she did, personally, “I don't need a paper to be a devoted partner and devoted mother. I don't need to be told to be ever present in the hardest of times. I don't need to be told to weather a storm with a good man."

In recent times, some in the media reported that Randall and Bullock’s relationship was on the rocks and that they were having a “cooling off period.” While the truth of their relationship was theirs alone, Bullock’s sister, Gesine Bullock-Prada has only good things to say about her. Calling ALS a cruel disease, Gesine felt that there was “comfort in knowing he had the best of caretakers in my amazing sister and the band of nurses she assembled who helped her look after him in their home.”

Fans are definitely sympathizing with Bullock given that she just lost the man she loved. Bullock also felt that Randall set an amazing example for their kids, as she added, “He's the example that I would want my children to have. I have a partner who's very Christian and there are two different ways of looking at things. I don't always agree with him, and he doesn't always agree with me. But he is an example even when I don't agree with him. I'm stubborn but sometimes I need to sit back and listen and go, 'You're saying it differently but we mean exactly the same thing.’” She also admitted that it was “hard to co-parent because I just want to do it myself."
