Tekashi 6ix9ine is in legal hot waters again!
Trouble brews as the rapper finds himself entangled in a legal dispute with a tattoo artist over alleged heroin-related statements. The songwriter's assertion that the ink master who inspired his name was once involved with heroin is having serious consequences.
Tekashi 6ix9ine Faces Off With Tattoo Artist Who Inspired His Name
In the latest legal filing, the tattooist claims that his marriage has suffered due to the drug abuse allegation. Takashi Matsuba makes his stance clear in his ongoing civil lawsuit against the "Gummo" rapper.
TMZ reported that the skin artist asserts that he should be granted a default judgment due to 6ix9ine's former lawyer leaving the case and his failure to secure new legal representation. In restating his claimed harm, Matsuba delivers a surprising revelation, sharing:
"I lost a number of friends, but by far the most important one is my dear wife. We divorced last year because she no longer trusted me after Hernandez's false statements about me were broadcast on Hulu and Showtime."
Matsuba further elaborates that his tattoo business crumbled under the weight of "the false suggestion that I may be a drug user." In case you missed it, Matsuba had expressed anger about his inclusion in a couple of 6ix9ine documentaries, one on Hulu and the other on Showtime.
The 27-year-old's public image continues to be marred by legal entanglements. Earlier, he faced a multimillion-dollar lawsuit over claims of canceling multiple concerts in Hollywood, California.
Legal documents obtained by The Blast reveal that a company named Streammusic alleged it entered into an arrangement with the "Kooda" artist to stage a series of private concerts in Los Angeles.
The company asserted that in August 2021, an agreement was finalized, which included a substantial upfront payment of $150,000 as part of the deal. According to them, 6ix9ine purportedly committed to "perform two musical concerts," and Streammusic obtained permission to live stream the performances.
He was also expected to endorse the events on his sizable Instagram platform, including "promotional videos" on his feed and Instagram stories. By December, the company claimed that the "Dummy Boy" rapper did not fulfill his commitment to promote the shows on his Instagram page leading up to the event.
Following a show postponement, the company asserted that he cut off communication and retained the $150,000 payment for himself.
Throughout that duration, Streammusic alleges they "allocated significant financial and human resources in connection with preparing for and marketing the performances that Defendant agreed to perform, including hours of marketing meetings, hours of curating video assets, hours of development embedding videos into Plaintiff's mobile application, hours of curating other assets and managerial tasks, and arrangements for extra security measures."
The 'Keke' Artist Confronted Unanticipated Attack From Unidentified Assailants
Despite the thrill that typically accompanies rappers' lives, it is never fun when it gets dangerous enough to require urgent medical attention. The controversial star faced this when ambushed by an unknown group of men in a sauna at a South Florida LA Fitness.
Lance Lazzaro, 6ix9ine's attorney, revealed that the "TattleTales" artist was alone in the facility when he was attacked by the group of strangers, who assaulted him with a barrage of punches that necessitated medical treatment.
Lazzaro explained that the Brooklyn drill artist's efforts to defend himself proved futile due to the attackers' numerical advantage. Fortunately, alerted by the commotion, attentive gym staff swiftly contacted the police and emergency personnel. Following the incident, the rapper was transported quickly to the hospital via an ambulance.
TMZ acquired images displaying 6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, with facial swelling and a cut near his cheek. Sources also disclosed that he sustained injuries to his ribs, jaw, and back during the aggressive encounter.
The attorney revealed plans to engage federal authorities in arranging additional security measures after the assault. Meanwhile, a video circulating on social media captured two individuals punching and kicking the "Gotti" rapper -- known for his rainbow-colored hair -- while he lay prone on the gym's bathroom floor.
In another clip, the "A Boogie wit da Hoodie" artist was shown with blood running down his face as he exited the bathroom and proceeded into the facility's central area.
