Rebel Wilson Gushes About Daughter's First Word While Sharing Thoughts On Baby No.2

Rebel Wilson just had a significant motherhood experience with her daughter Royce!

It's no news that the “Pitch Perfect” alum and her lover Ramona Arguma had their daughter via surrogate last year. Since having the little cherub, Wilson has been basking in motherhood and updating her fans on every moment. 

Recently, Royce hit a milestone saying her first words, which Wilson shared, while updating her thoughts on having another child. 

Like any doting parent, Wilson couldn't contain her excitement as she opened up about her daughter’s first words. “She just last week had her first word, which was mum," the actress excitedly stated. 

Wilson continued explaining that she had been training her girl for her first word. She explained, “I was like, 'Ahhh!!' because I have been trying to coach her in saying that for the last few weeks. And then she said it, and I recorded it on my phone, and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh.’” The 43-year-old actress mimicked her little girl’s first word. “She says, 'Mum, Mum, Mum.”

While Wilson savors every moment with her baby Royce, she’s open to having another child to make Royce the perfect big sister.

“I would like to have another child,” Rebel admitted to E! News, adding that it would require work and a stroke of luck. “It's just like, well, is that possible? I have to do IVF. We'll see how it goes. Royce is such a miracle. And if she's my only child, then amazing.”

Although the “Hustle” star keeps her fingers crossed about having another baby, she is enjoying every bit of motherhood with her nine-month-old daughter, especially during summer, which includes lots of swimming time for little Royce. 

Wilson gushed about her baby’s love for the water, claiming Royce took after her. “I love how much she loves swimming because I'm like that. I'm a Pisces.” The “Senior Year” actress added, “We take her swimming every day. We got her a little, little baby pool, and we fill that up or we take her in the big pool. And she's really loving it."

In April, the “Bridesmaids” star revealed her daughter’s full face for the first time on her social media to the utmost delight of her fanbase. The video upload captured the Australian actress holding her daughter in a carrier while they watched a Caribbean view. The camera first captured Royce’s angelic face before showing the scenic view. 

Some mountains stood tall in the background as the drone gave an epic view of the water alongside the clear blue sky. The short clip was set to The Andrew Sisters’ “Rum and Coca-Cola” while Wilson wrote in the caption: “Rebels of the Caribbean.”

Since officially debuting her baby’s face on social media, Wilson doesn’t miss an opportunity to flaunt the resemblance she shares with her baby. A few months back, the actress serenaded the Internet with the cutest mom-and-daughter snaps. 

In the upload, which the comedian sweetly captioned, “My baby,” she carried her girl as they posed for the camera. Royce looked more adorable in a yellow onesie with strawberry prints. Her looks were complemented by a cute bow decked on her head. Meanwhile, her mom rocked a brown patterned cardigan and a white undershirt. 

The first slide captured Wilson looking sideways while Royce stared mischievously at the camera. However, the carousel’s highlight was in the second slide, which showed the duo spotting the same nearly-smiling looks at the camera. Of course, fans quickly noticed the uncanny resemblance between the pair. 

In the comments, one fan gushed, “She’s beautiful like her momma.” Another follower wrote, “Gorgeous photos; she’s got eyes just like her mum.” “Your mini-me,” a third admirer remarked, adding a heart-eyed emoji, while a fourth follower stated, “Awww, she looks like you.”

Echoing the same thoughts, a fifth commenter called Royce “beautiful” before highlighting that she was her mama’s twin. Other comments read, “Awe, she’s beautiful just like her mommies,” and “Omg, she’s perfectly Perfect.”

Another time the media star showed off her daughter was Mother’s Day. To mark the celebration, she posted three images, including a family photograph featuring herself, her partner, and their daughter. In the caption, Wilson announced, “Happy Mother’s Day! (Just woke up at 5:30 am and changed a big ?…how about you?).”
