Taylor Swift likely isn't trying to be an 'Anti-Hero' when it comes to selecting her 'Eras Tour' dates, but some Canadian fans may feel differently!
'Swifties' were in for a treat on Thursday morning when the "Glitch" singer announced more tour dates for the "Eras Tour" for next year.
The excitement for Swift's Canadian tour dates may have been fueled in part by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's Twitter (which is now known as "X") request for the singer to add Canadian dates following her July 5th announcement regarding 14 newly added dates in the US, UK, and Europe.
Itβs me, hi. I know places in Canada would love to have you. So, donβt make it another cruel summer. We hope to see you soon.

Following the revelation of six dates in Toronto scheduled for November which appears to be the only new dates scheduled for Canada as of this writing, Swifties sounded off on the X app, airing their grievances while also showering Trudeau with appreciation for his efforts to prevent any future 'Cruel Summers!"

Fans had plenty to discuss about Swift's marathon of Toronto dates!
In the thread for the aforementioned tweet lamenting the dates being limited to Toronto, fans had suggestions.
"Why not do 3 in Toronto and 3 in Vancouver. That would have been too logical," a follower weighed in.
"Letβs nor act like 90% of Canada has no population pls," another wrote.
Why donβt artists understand that there are more places in Canada than just Toronto? #ErasTour #taylorswift but also #PostMalone who only played Toronto and Vancouver π

"Is it a coincidence that Taylor Swift only announced she is coming to Canada after Justin announced his separation?" an X page for a bar tweeted.
"Is it a coincidence that Trudeau is single and Taylor Swift is finally bringing her tour to Canada? Who's to say," an X user wondered.
"taylor swift coming to canada in november have the same energy as us having to wear winter coats over our halloween costume as a kid but now it'll be our eras tour fits," a fan wrote.
Taylor Swift really wanted to beat the "I hate Canada" allegations with these 6 dates π can't believe they're ALL in Toronto though, oof for anyone outside of TO....

"Taylor swift really looked at Canada, the 2nd biggest country in the world, having a cost of living crisis, and expects all the fans to be able to pay for plane tickets, hotels, time off work, childcare AND tickets to be able to see her because she's playing one city," a follower wrote, alongside a crying emoji.
"im all for Taylor Swift adding Toronto to her tours, but her team does know there are other major cities within Canada, right? Tbh id be cheesed if I was a fan and she only added 6 shows IN toronto and nowhere else lmao," another tweeted.
Tickets for the Eras Tour went on sale last November to great fanfare. Ticketmaster would soon land in hot water for their system crashes and response to the controversy. (per The Blast)
