Actress Lindsay Lohan, weeks after giving birth, proudly showed off her postpartum body in an Instagram mirror selfie, expressing pride in her body's journey during pregnancy and recovery. 

Lohan and her husband, Bader Shammas, welcomed their son Luai in Dubai. The couple got engaged in 2021 and married in an intimate April 2022 ceremony.

Lindsay Lohan is glowing just weeks after giving birth to her baby boy. The "Freaky Friday" star proudly displayed her postpartum body in a mirror selfie shared on Instagram.

In the caption, she expressed pride in her body's journey, writing, "I am so proud of what this body was able to accomplish during these months of pregnancy and now, recovery. Having a baby is the greatest joy in the world!"

The makeup-free beauty sported a light blue cropped tank and gray high-waisted underwear in the snap. With a playful reference to her movie "Mean Girls," Lohan humorously mentioned her choice of postpartum underwear by Frida Mom, playfully declaring herself a "postpartum mom."

Lohan and her husband, Shammas, welcomed her first child last month and named their son Luai which means "shield" or "protector" in Arabic. The newborn was born in Dubai, where the couple resides together.

On July 17, a statement from Lohan's representative conveyed the family's happiness, describing them as "over the moon in love."

In March, the 37-year-old "Parent Trap" actress announced her pregnancy on Instagram, sharing a photo of a tiny white onesie bearing the words "Coming soon…"

Lohan and Shammas' made their love story public in February 2020 and got engaged in November 2021. The lovebirds celebrated their engagement with Lohan showing off her diamond ring on Instagram along with the caption "My love. My life. My family. My future."

The couple exchanged vows in April 2022 in a quiet ceremony, sealing their love in marriage. In July of the same year, the actress confirmed that she was married with a beautiful snapshot. In the caption, she wrote, "You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time. I am stunned that you are my husband. My life and my everything. Every woman should feel like this every day."

In a recent Instagram post, Lohan shared a brief video showcasing a collection of books sent by her "Freaky Friday" co-star Jamie Lee Curtis. She thanked her 64-year-old colleague in the heartwarming post, writing, "Thank you so much, Jamie."

The actress then revealed more books from a bag labeled "Books to Grow By." The selection seems to comprise Curtis' creations, co-authored with illustrator Laura Cornell and published by HarperCollins Children's Books between 1993 and 2018.

Among the titles Lohan received were "Where Do Balloons Go?", "What Do You See?", "My Mommy Hung the Moon," "My Brave Year of Firsts," "I'm Gonna Like Me," "Today I Feel Silly and Other Moods That Make My Day," and "Big Words for Little People."

The "Halloween" star also appeared to have presented the new mother with a cozy gray blanket. The accompanying note on the bag of books read, "Warm welcome to your Luai — I can't wait to meet him! XO J."

Lohan previously shared a personal experience during the filming of the 2014 Oprah Winfrey Network docuseries "Lindsay."

She revealed that she had a miscarriage during the two weeks she took off, stating, "No one knows this, and we can finish after this. I had a miscarriage for the two weeks that I took off."

The emotional toll of being sick and the mental impact weighed heavily on her. Reflecting on the series, she expressed her empathy for her past self, saying, "It's a very long story. I was sick. And mentally that messes with you. And watching this series, I just know how I felt at that moment, and I can relate to that girl, which sounds kinda crazy. But I'm like, 'Oh my god, this is really sad, who is helping her?'"
