TikTok Star Alix Earle Faces Backlash For 'Bizarre' New Footwear

TikTok star Alix Earle is known for her sense of fashion, but it seems her latest look is a total miss!

The social media sensation's fans are loving her pink dress, but there were very few fans of her chunky yellow boots, with several fans telling her that she should ditch the boots and never look back!

Fans are not too happy with the Internet celebrity lately. After photographs surfaced of her allegedly making out with a teen, and Alix appearing to blow the whole thing off, fans haven't been too happy with her and her choices. They definitely don't seem to agree with her latest choice, which involved wearing chunky yellow boots along with a pink dress.

Fans didn't mind the short pink dress, which looked more like a slip. The thin pink fabric featured orange trim and straps that hung over her shoulders, showing off her glowing summer tan. In one photo, she nursed a cocktail as she sat on a white bench, tilting her head back to look up at the sky overhead through rose-colored glasses. Her long blonde bangs were tied back out of her face, revealing dangling pearl earrings.

The second slide of her Instagram carousel is what really got fans talking. She shared a photo of her posing with one hand on the railing, looking out over the water. Her pink dress barely falls to her upper thighs as she stands with one arm bent at her side, letting her long blonde hair fall down her back.

She again has her chin tilted up to the sky, although she accessorized her wardrobe with a white bag that she wears over her left shoulder. From this full-body angle, fans can also see that she is wearing a pair of yellow boots that work the way up to their knees. The bright yellow footwear had fans up in arms, with some calling it “bizarre.” Others called it “cringey” and “a mess.”

In another photo, Alix appeared to be standing on a table as she posed with one leg bent at her side, showing off her yellow boots. Not only do they add a lot of color to her outfit, but they also stand out against the pale blue sea and the sand of the beach. In the caption of this Instagram post, Alix wrote, “Ok I’m ready to go back…” and tagged The Surf Lodge as her location.

Fitness trainer Lindsey Gordon commented, “I love your dress” alongside a heart-eye emoji, but fans were more concerned with her boots than her dress. “Alix ily but be so f---ing fr those boots are not it,” one fan commented. “ I second this 100% LOVE HER SO MUCH!! But like no influencer will convince me that these are it,” another follower agreed. “BABY NO NOT THE BOOTS,” a third fan exclaimed.

It looks like Alix was not the only one wearing the bright yellow boots to the party, but that doesn’t mean that fans were any more impressed by the look. “Those crocs have to go sis,” another follower commented. “Alix…the shoes.
