Since throwing her 36G bra on stage at Drake while he was performing in Brooklyn, New York, recently, Veronica Correia has had some fascinating things happen. She was signed by Playboy to be one of their new creators and got an exciting surprise Instagram DM from Drake himself.
Veronica Correia's Life Has Changed Since Throwing Her Bra
During a recent episode of the Club Ambition podcast, Correia, 21, talks about everything that's happened since making the split-second decision to toss her bra on stage during Drake's concert.
Just before all this viral attention happened, Correia was busy opening up her own business.
"Before this whole thing blew up, about six weeks ago, I opened my cafe," she said. "I have been devoting all my time to that. From building the place to finding all the vendors, struggling with bakeries, the whole thing."
Cafe Lala's coffee shop is in Cumberland, Rhode Island, where she sells coffee, pastries, muffins, breakfast, and lunch sandwiches.

And then, after all the hard work of opening her business, she went to see Drake at the Barclays Center on July 21, and that's when her life took an unexpected, exciting turn.
"I had no intention of throwing my bra. My real thought was that I needed to stand near the DJ booth. Cause I know I'm going to see him. When I walked right on the floor, the stage was huge. I didn't want to get right up front because I wanted to see him. Where I was standing was seriously perfect," she said. "He walked right by the DJ booth, and that's where the big moment happened."
This all happened mid-concert, and while she said other bras were flying too, hers was the first one he noticed and picked up. When she thought to toss her bra to Drake, she asked her friend if she should do it, and she was iffy about it, but Correia thought it was a good idea and had her friend film the experience—and a good thing since it's now gone viral all over the internet.
Correia has dealt with some haters since the viral bra-throwing experience, but she doesn't care.
"To the negative comments I've been getting, I haven't been paying them any mind. First of all, there are way too many comments to read. I live for the positive ones," she said. "I am a mom, but I am young. I've never done anything to expose myself or ruin my name or my daughter's. I don't pay them any mind. Some are funny, but I use them as motivation."
Her deal with Playboy is still very new to her, and she's still learning. And while many may think there's nudity involved, she said there's not.
"It's all still very new to me. They're just posting some content, no nudity. I'm learning the ropes on how to be still successful but not ruin myself simultaneously, so to say," she explained. "Not a lot has happened yet."
Drake Reached Out To Veronica Correia Via Instagram DM
Correia said that after the experience, Drake "slid up on a Story," and the two ended up having a DM conversation.
"He slid up on a story and just laughed at one. I just sent a laughing face. I took a day or two to respond because I didn't know what to say. So, I just liked it, and then I left him for a day and wrote out this paragraph just thanking him for the experience, an awesome show. And then I told him I owned the coffee shop in Cumberland and asked him if he liked coffee and how he liked it. And he responded that he likes it iced and sweet," she shared.
"Then he was laughing at all of my messages, so I said, 'Oh do you think I'm funny,' and said, 'I think you're sought after right now.' So next, I asked him for advice, and he said live your amazing life; people are faceless, and they would never really say negative comments to your face."
While the new Playboy bunny hasn't met Drake yet, she said she would love to meet him and maybe go on a date.
