The "What Was I Made For?" musician recently honored her brother on his special day with a throwback photo alongside a strong declaration.
In the picture, the celebrant was photographed as a toddler, lying next to Billie as an infant. The siblings faced each other, with Finneas grinning at his younger sister. Declaring her eternal love to the fellow musician, the "Bad Guy" singer wrote in the caption, "My best friend forever. I will never love anyone as much as I love you, @finneas; happy birthday. You are the best thing I have."
The post gained over a million likes in a few hours, with overjoyed fans rushing to the comments to celebrate the "Ocean Eyes" producer.
One of the comments read, "happy international fitness Day," while a second fan proclaimed, "My favs, happy birthday, Finn." A third commenter gushed, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY FINNEAS!❤️."
"AWWWHHH HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY FINNEASS WE LOVE YOU DEARLY," a fourth follower exclaimed before a fifth penned, "You guys are the greatest people on the planet; happy birthday, fitness!!" Similarly, one more supporter declared, Happy birthday, Finneas 🎁🎈🎂."
A seventh fan then raved, "Aww 🥹 happiest bday to the best big brother. we all love you, sm finneas❤️.." Finneas, who is four years older than Billie, has nearly as much popularity as his sister in the entertainment industry.
In addition to receiving five nominations at the 62nd Grammy Awards ceremony in 2020, he co-wrote and produced Billie's debut album "When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" He has also worked with Selena Gomez, Halsey, and Camila Cabello.
Per reports, the 26-year-old and his sister started making music together as children in the Los Angeles Highland Park area, where they were raised by their parents, Maggie Baird and Patrick O'Connell. Baird and O'Connell were working actors who homeschooled their kids, with Finneas describing the family as "a very crunchy, sort of hippie-dippy family."

His father also mentioned in an interview, "We have never put any emphasis on getting a job and making a living. If we modeled anything, it was being broke and artsy."
Before gaining recognition in the music industry, the Academy Awards winner starred in a few productions between 2013 to 2015, including cameos on "Modern Family," the final season of "Glee" as Allistair, and "Life Inside Out" as Shane.
He said of his role in "Glee," "I felt like I'm part of the end of this seminal thing. It's so funny to be doing your fourth episode of a show, and everybody's weeping, and it's like, their 130th episode."
About four years later, following Finneas' contribution to Billie's first album, he released his debut solo EP "Blood Harmony," inspired by his bond with his sister. He is presently in a relationship with YouTube star and fashion influencer Claudia Sulewski who has quite the following on Instagram and YouTube and whom Finneas wrote the song "Claudia" for on the first day they met.
The 'Your Power' Vocalist Paid Homage To Her Late 'Lifelong Best Friend' With Heartfelt Words
Billie's celebration of her brother comes not long after she mourned the loss of her other best friend, her pet, Pepper, who has been her companion for fifteen years.
The 21-year-old, who avoids sharing details about her personal life on social media, surprisingly memorialized the pup on Instagram with photos of their time together over the years.
In honor of the deceased pet, she captioned the post, "Pepper—My lifelong best friend. I will see you again someday, sweet girl. You made it 15 years; you f—ing beast. :’) I love you. Rest easy, mama. I'll miss you forever. This is a tough day."
Such a beautiful tribute did not go unnoticed by fans, who paid their respects with comforting comments, including celebs like Nina Dobrev and Demi Lovato.
