Salma Hayek, 56, Shares Beauty Tips On How To Hide White Hairs Without Dye
Late Thursday afternoon, the “House of Gucci” took to Instagram to share three flattering selfies that featured her sitting in her car with minimal make-up. She has her sunglasses pushed up on her forehead, brushing her long dark hair back away from her face. Fans can see that she has a few silver wisps of hair from her hairline, but the actress is not about to use dye to cover it up.
In the caption, she wrote, “Here is a tip to cover your white hair without dyeing it ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… don’t wear your glasses 👓 on your hair!!! 😜😹. Bring on the wisdom🦉.” She repeated her message in Spanish, writing, “Aquí les va un consejo para cubrirse las canas sin teñirse el cabello……………………………quítense los lentes de la cabeza!!!😜😹 bienvenida la sabiduría🦉.”
It didn’t matter if the “From Dusk Till Dawn” actress had a whole head of grey hairs. Her followers would still love her all the same. “Beautiful either way…..TRUST!!!” one fan exclaimed. “Beautiful as always,” another follower wrote. “Still beautiful… I hope you never go the Hollywood phony beauty,” a third fan chimed in, while Paris Hilton dropped a single heart-eye emoji on her post.
“Could you be more gorgeous?” another follower asked. “Gorgeous As Always,” another fan agreed. “Love this. You are an inspiration to so many,” another follower shared. “You are so beautiful, love that you lead an example and age with grace & confidence,” another fan gushed. “Divine and beautiful always dear Salma,” another follower added.
“Salma, your white/grey hair looks amazing on you,” another fan commented. “It somehow makes her even more gorgeous if that’s even possible,” another follower agreed. “She could be wearing a trash bag and suddenly will be more beautiful. That's her super power,” another fan teased. “I like to see you natural! you look radiant,” another follower chimed in. “I love my white hair!! You look amazing with it too; don’t dye it,” another fan commented. “Oooh that’s a great tip! But it looks beautiful uncovered!!” another follower exclaimed.
“Love this! I agree completely! I have very visible white hair for about 5 years now, i never even remotely thought of dyeing my hair and most if not all of my contemporaries who have white hair has had their hair dyed already ~ absolutely nothing wrong with that at all, but sometimes jokingly I thought, ‘am I odd or weird for not even attempting to conceal my white hair?’” another fan shared. “Thank you Salma, I feel ‘seen’ and thank you for sharing.”
Salma Shares Her Secret To Looking Young... Meditation!
As The Blast previously reported, the “Black Mirror” actress recently appeared on Kelly Ripa’s podcast “Let’s Talk Off Camera” to talk about how she manages to stay so young. She told Ripa that she does not use Botox, something she has emphasized many times in the past, as she does not “believe” in it.
However, she did admit to practicing a “strange” form of meditation that allows her to feel her energy “dancing” around her body. “I do a lot of the frequency machines and they work on me better than on anyone,” she explained. “And just the meditation … sometimes when I’m doing it, people tell me when I come out of the room, ‘Oh my God, you look 20 years old.’”
She went on to say that her meditation practice is more than just skin deep. “When I don’t [meditate] for some time, guess what? Not only [does] the face starts to drop and everything starts to drop, [but also] my herniated disc, the problem in my neck, the problem in my hip, my ankles [comes back]. I start breaking down.”
The actress will also use radiofrequency and micro-frequency machines to tighten her skin in non-invasive ways; however, she says they work better on her than most other people. As she told Ripa, “The people that do the machines say that the results I get, they don’t get with other people.”
