Bella Hadid Says She's 'Almost 10 Months' Sober In Inspiring New Post Amid Lyme Disease Battle

Bella Hadid made an inspiring revelation as she announced that she has almost achieved ten moths of  sobriety.

The 26-year-old supermodel took to social media to share her personal journey following reports of her split from boyfriend Marc Kalman.

Hadid's split from Kalman comes amid her struggle with Lyme disease and the challenges she faced as she recently took a "medical leave" to attend to it.

After a brief hiatus from social media, she returned with a poignant message of hope and resilience aimed at inspiring others who may be struggling with similar issues.

In her heartfelt Instagram post, Hadid noted that she has successfully stayed away from alcohol almost ten months. Hadid wrote, "I'm so proud of anyone pushing through dry July. With Kin and lots of self-love, I am almost 10 months no alcohol."

She added, "I'm so proud of anyone discovering their sobriety or anyone who has had the courage to open their mind to Dry July!"

In the photo accompanying Hadid's post, she looked stunning and radiant as she beamed with a smile while rocking a brown skirt and a huge coat buttoned up to her neck. She wore her long blonde hair past her shoulders.

Several Hadid fans took to the comment section of her post to share how much they missed her and to show support for her on her sobriety journey.

Hadid recently faced another significant change in her personal life as news emerged of her split from her boyfriend, Marc Kalman.

According to Entertainment Tonight, a source noted that their relationship simply "ran its course" and the split was seemingly mutual.

The source shared, "They were very in love, but the relationship ultimately ran its course and they decided to end things. Bella is a very nice person, but struggles with the pressures of fame."

"Bella is taking some much-deserved time off to treat her Lyme disease. She is not in rehab and has never had an alcohol or drug problem. Her split from Marc was amicable and she is always someone who takes care of herself and has been very open about it," the insider added.

Following the news of her split from boyfriend Kalman, Hadid reportedly took a step towards prioritizing her health and well-being as she went on a "medical leave" to attend to her ongoing battle with Lyme disease, according to ET.

A source who spoke to the news outlet revealed that the model, at the time, was being treated daily for her Lyme disease as against reports of her admission into rehab.

"Bella Hadid is in daily treatment for Lyme disease," the source said. "Nine months ago, Bella decided she wanted to stop drinking, so she stopped. She has been sober for nine months and has never had an alcohol or drug problem. Bella is not in rehab."
