Rauw Alejandro is not a cheater! The Puerto Rican artist shut down rumors about his loyalty to Rosalía in his first message about their separation.

This week started with the heartbreaking end of the "BESO" singers' four-month engagement. The former couple parted ways after winning the hearts of millions with wholesome moments during their longtime relationship.

Following the announcement of their split, fans speculated what could have caused the iconic pair's dissolution. Many lodged infidelity allegations against the "Sky Rojo" actor, a painful narrative the 30-year-old could not tolerate.

Since sources revealed the former lovers had separated, neither of the entertainers publicly addressed their broken union. However, the cheating accusations circulating the internet forced the "Algo Mágico" singer to break his silence.

The San Juan native issued a lengthy statement on Twitter, now known as X, airing his disappointment about the viral narrative. Writing in Spanish, the two-time Latin Grammy Award recipient confirmed the pair had split but not for the reasons many believed.

Addressing his followers, the 30-year-old English-translated message read: "Throughout all these years, you’ve been part of my professional accomplishments, as well as all the happy moments I lived with my partner. I never thought I’d be in a position where I’d have to give a public statement about such a private matter in my life."

According to Alejandro, the lovebirds ended their romance months before sources spread the word of their breakup. Although he did not share the reason for their separation, the "Mírame" hitmaker stressed it was not caused by infidelity.

"Yes, a few months ago, Rosi and I ended our engagement. There are thousands of problems that can cause a breakup, but, in our case, it was not because of infidelity or a third person," the songwriter claimed.

The 30-year-old noted he stayed quiet because it took time to "assimilate" the end of the couple's four-year romance. Nonetheless, the "false public allegations" about his former relationship could not be tolerated as they insulted him, Rosalía, and their loved ones.

"Because of the respect I have for her, our families, and all we ever lived, I couldn’t stay quiet and continue to see how they try to destroy the most real love story God has ever allowed me to live," the Latin AMA winner emotionally penned.

After calling out the public for painting him as a cheater, Alejandro sweetly concluded his lengthy message: "With nothing more to add, to my fans that I love so much, thank you for being there."

While the Puerto Rican hunk was the first to address the breakup publicly, his former sweetheart seemingly hinted at their separation during her Motomami world tour. Days before insiders announced their split, the Spanish songstress gave a tear-filled performance.

Saturday, July 22, marked the last day of the "BIZCOCHITO" singer's world stint for her hit 2022 album, "Motomami." The 30-year-old commemorated the occasion with an emotional performance that appeared to be a farewell message to Alejandro.

As seen in the fan-filmed video shared on X, the Catalonia College of Music alum ended her tour at Lollapalooza in Paris. For her final performance, the two-time Grammy winner gave a piano rendition of her sensual ballad, “Hentai.”

While belting out the passionate song lyrics, the entertainer was overwhelmed by her emotions, and her voice trembled with unshed tears. The media personality repeatedly paused to stop herself from bawling before continuing the show.

Naturally, the Billboard Women in Music honoree's poignant appearance caused a stir on social media as many debated the reason for her tears. The popular narrative accused Alejandro of breaking the 30-year-old's heart.

“We hate you, Rauw,” someone penned with another, declaring: “Rauw cheater never deserved her.” A third compared Rosalía's emotional performance to another famous breakup.

The fan noted Katy Perry had given a similar soul-stirring show following her divorce from Russell Brand. “Reminds me of Katy Perry performing right after her phone call breakup …. So sad,” the individual wailed.
