Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger is celebrating his 80th birthday today!

Jagger's birthday has been met with extreme fanfare on social media today! The rocker has undoubtedly made the rounds amongst musicians and made his marks on fans in the six decades since The Rolling Stones' formation. The British Invasion pioneers have been together since 1962. Original drummer Charlie Watts passed away in August of 2021.

The "Sway" singer has already received many-a-birthday wishes on social media, ranging from bandmates to former Presidential candidates!

Jagger reportedly also has a monumental reason to celebrate: he is reportedly engaged to his 36-year-old girlfriend, Melanie Hamrick.

Mick Jagger Rings In A Milestone Birthday With A Little Help From His Bandmates!

Ronnie Wood, who has been a member of The Rolling Stones since the mid-Seventies, commemorated his longtime bandmate's birthday on Instagram. Wood posted a carousel of pics old and new.

"Happy birthday to the one and only 80 years old teenager πŸŽ‰πŸ’–πŸŽ‚πŸŽŠ," a Rolling Stones fan account commented.

"Happy Birthday @mickjagger You’re the fittest 80-year-old around. Enjoy your dayπŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ Have a rocking cool timeπŸ˜ƒπŸ™ŒπŸ˜ƒ," a follower wrote.

Jagger himself 'liked' the photo as well!

Jagger's longtime partner in music and bandmate Keith Richards, borrowed some keys to serenade his bestie!

Richards, 79, serenaded Jagger with a birthday wish. Richards said, "Hey, Mick. Long may we keep saying this to each other," he laughed. "Happy birthday, Mick! Have another goodin'! Gimmie a call, let me know what it's like," he concluded.

Wood's wife, Sally, got in on the festivities as well! Captioning her Instagram post about Jagger, she wrote, "Very cool pic! Happy 80th Mick!"

Twitter, which has been newly rebranded as X, is also filled with wishes for the "Angie" crooner!

Former model and current photographer Patti Hansen tweeted, "Two birthdays today!! Many Happy Returns to both Mick Jagger and Roger Taylor! xx @MickJagger @OfficialRMT," referring to Queen drummer Roger Taylor.

Musician Ron Sexsmith covered his cover of The Rolling Stones' "As Tears Go By,'' which was originally written for Jagger's girlfriend at the time, Marianne Faithful. Faithful, 76, also released a version of the song.

Producer Nile Rodgers posted a photo of himself and Jagger in the studio to his X account.

Entertainer John Fugelsang joked "OMG I saw Mick Jagger trending and almost had a heart attack- so relieved to find out he's not releasing a new solo album." Jagger does indeed have a number of solo records to his name!

The Rolling Stones Compilation Album 'Forty Licks' Is Now Available For Streaming

Speaking of albums, Tuesday is also a big day for The Rolling Stones' listeners!

Back in the early aughts, "40 Licks," a giant 'greatest hits album was released. The album was originally released to accompany a massive stadium tour in celebration of the band's fortieth anniversary.

13 years after its original release, the compilation has received a facelift of sorts: "Forty Licks" is now available to officially stream for the first time. According to a press release from last month, the compilation will be released on 180-gram vinyl as a four-LP edition. The new release is described as being quite "lavish!"

Jagger has not let this massive day in Stone's history pass by! The "Under My Thumb" singer has acknowledged all of the good fortune on social media! He wrote, "Thanks so much for all your lovely comments and birthday wishes!! πŸ™β€οΈ" in the caption for a pic wherein he's donning a rather fancy suit!
