Is Quavo in trouble? The Migos rapper appeared to have a heated run-in with the law as he was captured handcuffed on a yacht.

The Hip-hop sensation needs little introduction, given the buzz he and his former group members have created over the years. Following the death of his nephew and bandmate Takeoff, the 32-year-old focused on continuing the deceased's legacy.

However, one of the few moments the Athens native had to himself nearly became a nightmare. Paparazzi spotted the FCF Glacier Boyz co-owner aboard a water vessel where an alleged strong armed robbery occurred.

Over the weekend, the "Open It Up" musician's relaxation in Miami was cut short by authorities. On Sunday, June 23, the media personality was caught among others on board a yacht in the Miami River.

As seen in the footage obtained by TMZ, the rapper had his hands zip-tied behind his back as he sat on the deck. The Athens native appeared to interact with three police officers while a group of women could be seen on the side.

The role that the "Greatness" artist played to warrant the handcuffs remained unclear. However, the 32-year-old was reportedly not a part of the crime authorities had responded to. The cops became involved after getting a 911 call about an alleged strong-armed robbery on a yacht.

Those aboard the water vessel told law enforcers that two men, neither identified as the rapper, became "aggressive" with the captain. These individuals reportedly turned violent after the vessel's head announced their rental time was nearly over.

The news did not sit well with the unidentified pair who allegedly demanded a refund. According to the incident report, one of the men warned the captain not to turn the boat around. The culprit threatened to kill the yacht operator and throw him off the vessel if he did not meet his demands.

One of the crew members echoed similar tales of violence, claiming he saw one of the men take the captain's wallet and cell phone. However, this allegation could not be confirmed as the people on deck gave contradicting statements about what happened.

Additionally, authorities discovered two guns on the water vessel but did not escalate the matter as the firearms were not mentioned in any of the alleged threats. As for Quavo's appearance in the case, his attorney Drew Findling chucked it off to being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

"To be clear, Quavo was NOT mentioned in the police report narrative," the rapper's legal representative explained in a statement. "Not only was Quavo NOT arrested, he is not even listed as a witness to any alleged dispute. Ultimately, no one on the boat was arrested."

The duo's reunion marked a significant improvement in their relationship, as the Hip-hop sensations were previously shrouded in beef rumors. The entertainers kept their collaboration a secret, leaving fans guessing who they were when they appeared on the blacked-out stage.

Naturally, the dynamic duo's return to the stage touched the hearts of those watching in the audience and those at home. The majority aired their happiness on social media platforms like Twitter, praising the pair for resolving their differences.
