According to Daily Mail, several of Ice-T's followers agreed with the actor's comments on the theories about Foxx being cloned. One fan noted that the differences in Foxx's face were likely because he's "still in the healing process" from his health crisis.

Another person wrote that Foxx's changes in appearance could also be from the focal length of his phone camera. They said the focal length differed from the lenses used to photograph Foxx at red-carpet events, which many compared to his video.

Another of Ice-T's followers noted that it's normal for Foxx to look different, especially as he had a "near-death" experience. Yet another person pointed out that people were comparing the face of a recovering person to his photos from movies and events, and there would be differences.

In the video the actor posted on Friday, Foxx refrained from revealing specific details about his health scare but explained why only his family could visit him during the most critical phase.

"I want you to see me laughing, having a good time, partying, cracking a joke, doing a movie, a television show," he said in the video. "I just didn't want you to see me with tubes running out of me and trying to figure out if I was going to make it through."

The actor also made sure to dismiss rumors about losing his motor skills due to the health emergency. However, he admitted that the illness significantly impacted him, saying he "did go to hell and back."

"My road to recovery had some potholes as well, but I'm coming back, and I'm able to work," Foxx added before concluding with "I am on my way back."

After Foxx's daughter, Corinne confirmed that he'd been released from the hospital, he was spotted multiple times. The "Ray" actor was photographed playing golf at a Topgolf location and on a boat cruise on the Chicago River.

Someone recently told People Magazine that Foxx organized a party at his rehabilitation center. The party was to celebrate the actor's recovery so far, although he's still undergoing "outpatient rehab." They said Foxx "has been working really hard these last couple of months to get back to normal and has greatly improved since he first got to the facility."

In another sighting, Foxx returned a handbag to a woman who'd lost it near the Chicago Bean. Footage shared on social media showed the actor returning the purse to Terri "Quenni" Glenn as she strolled with her sisters, unaware that her bag was lost.
