Jazmine Sullivan's Fans Wrap Her In Support Amid News Of Her Mother's Passing

Jazmine Sullivan revealed that her mom has passed away. Her followers are showing support and wrapping the singer in a virtual hug.

The singer wrote a short note on Instagram alongside a photo of her mother as child. “I don’t have the words yet mommy. So for now I’ll say thank you thank you thank you. Rest now butterfly ? 10/26/58- 07/22/23 ?.”

She didn’t elaborate but in the past, she has mentioned that her mom was battling breast cancer and unfortunately, this could be the reason for her passing. Sullivan’s singing family is holding her up during this trying time.

The likes of Ari Lennox who wrote, “I love you sister ❤️ I’m so sorry ??.” And SZA writes “I’m so sorry Jazmine, praying for both her spirit and yours ❤️.” Chloe Bailey shared her support as well. “So sorry for your loss. sending my condolences and love ❤️.”

The performer who brought Sullivan to the world’s attention shared a lengthy, sweet message about her mom Pam Sullivan.

“Ms Pam always had your back even when you didn’t understand your vocal gift your mom did! From the moment I walked out the studio she waited to tell me about her little daughter who could sing, and she was by your side always as she will continue to be in spirit?️ Rest Easy Ms Pam you will forever be a GEM?.”

Missy has been with Jaz since day 1 of her career and often played the tole mom when Pam was too far away to do. The comment is pulling at fans heartstrings as many know how far back the two go.
