Christina Hall's daughter, Taylor Reese El Moussa, is no longer a wallpaper girl!
The almost-teenager informed her mother that she had outgrown wallpapers and wanted a modern upgrade in her bedroom. Being a cool and understanding mom, the investor happily agreed to give the room a facelift, complete with functional upgrades that fit perfectly with Taylor's current and specific taste.
Taylor El Moussa Employed Her Mother's Interior Design Services For Her Upgraded Room
In the latest episode of "Christina on the Coast," Taylor and Christina had a conversation that saw the former disclosing that she was over the floral wallpaper in her bedroom.
In a video exclusively obtained by PEOPLE, the mother-daughter duo are heard talking about what Taylor would prefer to see in her room, with the 40-year-old asking her baby girl if she wanted something glittery. In response, the 12-year-old said:
"I don't think I want to do a wallpaper. I tried the wallpaper experience, and I had it when I was younger. I don't really like it. I want to go for something less 'out there.'"
After deliberating over their options, the pair settled on a more "simplistic modern" style, and Christina later expressed, "Taylor's a preteen now, and her taste is changing, and she wants to redesign her room. I think it's going to be super fun, and I've agreed to help her redesign it."
While there is no wallpaper in the blonde tot's vision for her bedroom, she was excited about upgrading one part of the space into a desk area. Here, she wanted to see floating shelves, plants, and a swinging chair hanging from the ceiling.
Even though the episode of Taylor becoming one of her mother's clients is just airing, it is worth noting that the occurrence happened last year. In fact, Christina had uploaded a stunning video highlighting the finished space in an Instagram reel set to the tune of No Doubt's "Just a Girl."
The clip panned over the upgraded space, featuring neutral-toned colors and designs with a touch of pink. "Taylor's room coming together. 💕 she wanted white chevron walls with a swinging chair and a white fluffy rug. 🤍," the doting mom wrote in the caption.
Despite the joy of infusing her daughter's style into the space, the "Christina in the Country" star is not so open about Taylor to follow in her career footsteps. In an interview where she revealed that she wanted her children to have a "normal life," she gushed:
"Taylor is just a natural. She's actually really good at design, and she's really good on camera. It kind of freaks me out, but I don't want her to do any of that for a while."
The 'Buddy vs. Duff' Special Guest Shut Down A Troll's Unnecessary Comment
Christina had shown her protective mama bear side when one troll tried to start some drama. As reported by The Blast, trouble had reared its head when the former "Flip or Flop" co-host posted a picture of her and her children, Taylor and Brayden, whom she shares with Tarek El Moussa and Hudson London Anstead, whom she shares with Ant Anstead.
All four of them flashed their best smiles as they posed in front of a mirror, and Christina placed her hand around Brayen while the other two kids stood beside her. The post expectedly caught people's attention, earning thousands of likes and just as many comments from fans who pointed out the physical similarities between Taylor and her mom.
Amid the merry atmosphere, one seemingly concerned individual queried Christina about Taylor crowning her stepmother Heather Rae El Moussa as the "best mom ever." The moment, which occurred during Heather and Tarek's baby shower, saw the California-born girl declaring to her stepmom:
"I've known you for four years now, and I just want to say that you're the best mom ever, and I couldn't have asked for anyone else."
Thus, the netizen asked, "How did you feel when she said something along the lines that Heather was the best mom she could ask for? I was hurt, and I'm not even her mom 😩 I guess it made me happy to know Heather is good to her and she feels that way, but… ah.😪😪." Christina wasted no time in shutting down the conversation, partly responding:
"I don't need Taylor to announce how amazing I am to the world for me to feel confident in my motherhood. Jealousy and envy aren't in my DNA … I'm glad they love their stepmom too."
