Savannah Chrisley, whose main focus is on upholding her family's reputation, had some furious words to dish out following the baseless speculations made about her household.
As fans may know, days ago her step-sister, Lindsie Chrisley, disclosed her decision on social media not to participate in a possible documentary focusing on her family's reality.
However, Chrisley, in a subtle response to the alarming news, set the record straight to her supporters.
Savannah Chrisley Calls Rumored Upcoming Family Documentary 'Crazy Stories'
Loyal fans of the Chrisley household would recall that the influential family became beloved by many as their former USA Network series, ''Chrisley Knows Better,'' rose to popularity. Unfortunately, things took a downturn in 2019 after the family heads — Todd and Julie Chrisley made headlines for their controversial fraud and tax evasion case.
Maintaining her family's innocence, Savannah has continually canvassed for her parent's release after they were sentenced on November 21, 2022, by a federal judge to spend several years behind bars.
Recently the reality TV star addressed her fans about a supposed new documentary featuring her family. She took to her Instagram stories to upload a lengthy video, dispelling the rumors. Seated in the comfort of her white luxurious home, the blonde-haired beauty donned a floral dress and paired it with a gold necklace.
In the clip, she began by greeting her supporters and wishing them a great day before adding, "I was notified of some crazy stories that have been out there about this family documentary. First of, I want to set the record straight, there is no family documentary that is happening. Me [Chrisley], Chase, the kids, and nanny are filming a new reality show and we've partnered with an amazing production company to do this. And it is going to be the first reality show that we've done."
The "Unlocked" podcast host explained that she and her brother were vehemently against the documentary "because the truth was just not behind it and from day one, I've said no, no, no, no. I was not cooperating, nor were the kids, or Chase," she continued."
She further clarified, "Also any documentary that does happen is all based off lies. Because at the end of the day, if Mom and Dad aren't involved, how do you get the full truth? They should be able to share their side of any story that is being told."
Declaring herself as her parents' Power of Attorney, mentioned that no one, especially a "crazy ex-wife" was not equipped to tell the "accurate truth." The 25-year-old noted that any documentary that happens is ''BS,'' and a ''lie.'' She added that the family's new reality show would reveal ''everything that is going down,'' including, ''call with Mom and Dad.''
Concluding her speech, she remarked, "But other than that, the lives of the Chrisleys are going okay. I mean, the kids and I are doing well." Savannah also mentioned all the successful projects that have been ongoing for her family, adding, "Life is moving forward, things are good, God is showing up, and for that, I am so so grateful."
While Savannah has assured fans that there is no upcoming documentary featuring her family, her half-sister Lindsie, apart from declining to be a part of it, revealed her reasons for rejecting the offer.
The podcaster, speaking to her listeners on her "Southern Tea With Lindsie Chrisley" podcast noted that her parents Todd, 54, and Julie, 50, were not allowed to defend their honor and integrity amid their ongoing prison sentences.
She stated, "I just decided that I'm not going to participate in something that one, I don't even know what the heck's going on. What could they possibly document that would even be relevant that anyone doesn't already know''?
Standing up for her parents, she added, "[It's] not really worth my time and also not fair to people…they would be documenting about people who can't potentially defend themselves in the event that they would need to defend themselves."
Chrisley Tackled The FBI For Their 'Corrupt Nature' Amid Her Parents' Incarceration
While the reality TV star is preparing to keep fans busy with her new reality show, she continues to clamor for the release of her parents.
Last month, the "Unlocked With Savannah Chrisley" podcaster took to her Instagram to share a video of herself, making an appearance on Fox News. She joined political commentator Lawrence B. Jones for a virtual interview addressing her parent's sentencing.
The media personality assumed her business role as she aired her grievances against the prison system. She commented on the broadcaster's observation about her vulnerability with fans concerning her mental health struggles, noting that she wanted to inspire others to fight while adding that they were not alone in their battles.
She further commended Fox News and other alleged ''FBI whistle-blowers'' for speaking out about the unfair practices in the government. The "Sassy By Savannah'' founder remarked, "We felt it firsthand with the government overreach, with a warrantless search that occurred with an IRS – with a department of revenue agent going into a warehouse without a warrant."
Chrisley added, "So if it can happen to us, it can happen to you. It's not about my family; it's about the corrupt nature with the DOJ and the FBI.''
Asserting boldly in her caption, she continued, "Criminal justice reform and improving prison conditions isn't a Republican or Democrat issue. It is about being humane and decent."
