The breakup with Kalman isn't the only concern for Hadid at the moment, as she reportedly took a "medical leave" recently due to her prolonged battle with Lyme disease.
A source with insider information revealed to ET that her decision to step away from her professional commitments is primarily due to her daily treatments for Lyme disease, as opposed to rehab wrongly reported.
The renowned model has been publicly open about her struggle with Lyme disease, a tick-borne illness that can cause various symptoms, including fatigue, joint pain, and neurological issues.
A source told the news outlet, "Bella is taking some much-deserved time off to treat her Lyme disease. She is not in rehab and has never had an alcohol or drug problem."
"Bella Hadid is in daily treatment for Lyme disease," another source revealed. "Nine months ago, Bella decided she wanted to stop drinking, so she stopped. She has been sober for nine months and has never had an alcohol or drug problem. Bella is not in rehab."

Hadid, known for her successful modeling career and activism efforts, has been candid about her struggles with alcohol in the past. In early 2022, she made the brave decision to prioritize her health by quitting alcohol for six months after feeling like she couldn't control herself.
"I have done my fair share of drinking. I loved alcohol, and it got to the point where even I started to, you know, cancel nights out that I felt like I wouldn't be able to control myself," she told InStyle at the time.
