Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin have decided to reaffirm their love with a second and more lavish celebration of their marriage. After a heartfelt exchange of vows during an intimate ceremony in Hungary last weekend, the pair revealed their plan to have another grand wedding in California, where Sprouse spent his formative years.

Speaking to Vogue, Palvin shared that their first wedding was originally intended to be a small, private affair. She added that the wedding guest list grew to 115 attendees, stating, "We ended up having 115 guests because there are a lot of people we care about and we wanted them all to be there."

Per the outlet, the lovebirds had exchanged vows in a beautiful church ceremony in Hungary, Palvin's birthplace and childhood home. Following this, they hosted a civil ceremony on a charming island nestled within her parents' property.

Their next celebration will be in Sprouse's hometown as they plan for an autumn celebration in California. "We're excited to go back to L.A. to our pets and rest a bit — before we start planning the American wedding," Palvin shared.

The newlyweds delighted fans by sharing an intimate glimpse of their wedding preparations through a series of behind-the-scenes photos with Vogue. The captivating shots included moments of the actress having her makeup done and donning her exquisite Vivienne Westwood wedding gown, complemented by stunning Tiffany & Co. jewelry.

The lovebirds also showcased their joyous walk down the aisle and the magical moment when petals rained down on them outside the Hungarian church, where they exchanged vows.

Interestingly, Palvin had playfully hinted at her dream of a Hungarian wedding during a dinner date video segment for British Vogue, per People magazine, which featured her partner, Sprouse, back in 2020. She mentioned that marrying in her homeland was a non-negotiable plan, playfully stating, "My parents would have killed me" if she hadn't fulfilled this heartfelt wish.

She added, "I'm excited to show that side of me and introduce my culture, the places I grew up, and the places I went to. I feel like a lot of people will learn even more about me this way."

Sprouse and Palvin's love story began at a party in 2017. However, their romantic journey officially started in 2018 when they made their relationship known to the world through an Instagram post. Palvin celebrated Sprouse's birthday by sharing an adorable photo of them together, playfully winking at the camera, and calling him her "Happy birthday Boss Baby."

In June 2023, the couple confirmed their engagement during an interview with V Magazine, which was conducted by Dylan's twin brother, Cole Sprouse. They revealed that the romantic proposal had taken place in September the previous year.

While they were thrilled about their engagement, they chose not to disclose every detail to the public, opting for a more private approach to their relationship. Sprouse explained, "What we wanted to do with Stephen [Gan] and the V team is make something that was kind of tongue-in-cheek about the nature of private versus public. We're playing with the idea of perception."

In the couple's chat with V Magazine, Palvin recalled their shared love for anime, particularly "Naruto." The model stated that she knew exactly when she fell in love with Sprouse, saying, "I can tell you the moment I fell in love. We started talking about Naruto and then he did an impersonation."

Interjecting, the actor stated, "Oh, yeah. I impersonated Akamaru, he does this spin attack." Akamaru is the character of a dog from the popular anime.

Palvin then described how Sprouse "jumped and turned in the air to land on the bed" and how she "filmed it in slow motion," adding that it was her "favorite video."
