DJ Khaled And Nicole Tuck Open Up About Their Intentions To Have A Daughter
Khaled and his wife have been "praying and trying for a girl," based on his words to Page Six at the Shawn Carter Foundation 20th anniversary gala. The event was held in New York City on Tuesday, July 14, hosted by Jay-Z and his mother, Mrs. Gloria Carter.
The phenomenal DJ also spoke about his sons, whom he trains to work hard amid the widespread controversy surrounding "no-babies" in the entertainment industries. "The kids hang out with mommy and daddy every day, and they see us work every day," he shared. "So that's how you teach your kids how to hustle."
Khaled continued, "You bring them around greatness, and you bring them around love. I tell Asahd and Aalam every day that if they want sneakers, I tell them Daddy gotta work hard to continue buying boxes and boxes."
Nevertheless, he and his wife guarantee the boys will always have whatever they want. "That is what all mothers and fathers strive to do," the 47-year-old elucidated. "But we also want them to be able to grow up and do whatever they want."
He also mentioned that he and Tuck did everything for their kids, so he wanted them to "take the blessing to continue the legacy and take it to wherever they want to do."
In another chat with Hollywood Life, Khaled and his significant other spoke about how they made their relationship work over the years despite the fame, their busy careers, and their children. While staring at Tuck with affection on the red carpet, the record executive called her his "best friend" before she briefly interrupted with, "You've got to be real at all times."
Khaled then emphasized that they were a "pure and real family" with "happy moments" that are the "happiest," while giving special credit to his wife of over a decade.
"But, My Queen, she always keeps it real," he went on. "And I keep it real all the time. In any relationship, you must be real and pure." In addition, the "All I Do Is Win" producer believed that for any relationship to work and be true, the couple has to "stand beside each other" through the good and hard times and "even when it rains."
Gushing more about his partner, he said he felt blessed to have "a queen" who has his back" while proclaiming that he would do anything for her as he "got her back, front, side, head, and toe!"
Although Khaled and Tuck are trying to have another child, the record producer once mentioned in a 2021 interview with US Magazine that he was fine with "whatever God gives." He further stated, "Me and my queen, we talk about it once in a while…She just had two boys, our two beautiful boys, and [I want to] make sure that she's right."
