The black and white snap saw the best friends embracing each other in a field. The friends looked super pleased to be in each other's presence.
Both donned dark-colored shirts and let their hair free-fall to their backs and as they posed, Mosier's arm tattoo showed. The attached caption also conveyed how much she adored her friend and was thankful for holding her down when she was ill. In the caption, Bindi wrote:
"Happy Birthday to one of my dearest friends in this world. I am thankful every day that you came into my life. You threw me a life boat while I was drowning in endometriosis pain and told me that I could find answers, [and] that I deserved to get help. I'll be grateful forever. Love you @lesliemosier. You light up the world with your kind heart."
Without fail, many of the zookeeper's fans opined about the pair's friendship while penning their birthday wishes. Mosier herself responded writing, "Thank you, sweet Bindi!!! I treasure our friendship more than you know. See you SO SOON and we'll make so many new memories!"
"Happy birthday to your beautiful friend," one fan noted while a second shared the duo have a "Beautiful friendship." Someone else commented, "What a beautiful message from a beautiful heart." A fourth fan added, "That is what love is all about[.] beautiful shot y'all."
Reverting to Bindi's health—she shared her story about her endometriosis journey in May. In an Instagram post detailing the ordeal, the "Dancing With the Stars" season 21 winner explained:
"When I was 14, I started noticing my symptoms. I was getting extreme fatigue, nausea, and pain. Many people think with endometriosis, you only get symptoms during your period, that time of the month. I had pain every day of my life, and it started when I was 14 years old."
She pointed out that the symptoms progressed so much that "Suddenly, no matter where [she and her mom] went or what we were doing, I would just be falling asleep wherever we were, and I also felt constantly like I had the flu."
After excessive testing, the doting mom of one mentioned that she was diagnosed with IBS because eating anything made her sick. However, she began to think maybe she was struggling with endometriosis whenever her friend would share information about her symptoms.
This conflicting information made her and her family visit the U.S. for a permanent fix, and they indeed found one in "excision surgery." During the surgery, doctors found 37 legions and a chocolate cyst on her ovary.
In the video, the "Crikey! It's the Irwins" star's final message was for her followers to know their pain is not always normal and to find validation. She said, "Continue to search for answers, and remember you are never, ever, ever alone. We are all in this together."
