Jessica Simpson declares that her natural looks are here to stay, whether or not fans approve of it!
Fans have had a handful of things to say about the "Duke Of Hazzard" star's appearance since she cut down on her weight. Whether accusations of using Ozempic to slim down or claims of making her face slimmer, the actress has caused tongues to wag!
A few days ago, fans criticized her for posting a makeup-free photo that wasn't entirely makeup free. It appears that critics don't easily faze Simpson, as she, once again, serenaded fans with a makeup-free image of herself.
Jessica Simpson Proves That Her Natural Looks Is Here To Stay
Over the weekend, the singer again posted a makeup-free snap of her on her Instagram, stirring reactions from fans. The selfie Simpson uploaded showed her in the bathroom, appearing to have just had a shower. The "Open Book" author left her face makeup free and styled her wet blonde tresses in a slick braid ponytail.
Simpson maintained the natural look as she opted for minimal jewelry. She added a stylish gold necklace and gold hoops. The blonde beauty struck a serious pose, making her facial features prominent. Her high cheekbones, angular jawline, and big blue eyes were absent in the snap.
The natural snap was followed up with a funny picture of the singer's dog in the bathtub, also appearing to have had a bath. The furry creature was wrapped in a white towel and had a shower cap on.
In the post caption, Jessica announced, "This shower was LIT, so I snapped a selfie. I have never been in a shower with a mirror- who has time to look at themselves shower? I would have soap in my eyeballs!"
Sure enough, fans filled the comments section with their thoughts on the Tv star's look. One fan wrote, "Your face shape has changed," while another stated, "She's not pretty anymore. Wtf happened to her face???!!!!" A third spectator advised Jessica, writing, "Nope. Girly, stop changing your face. Getting older is inevitable."
While some fans found the photo undesirable, others left sweet words for the actress. An admirer wrote, "Still a beauty!... As long as you are healthy and happy, who cares what anyone else says" A second admirer gushed, "Now there's a gorgeous no-makeup selfie!"
Simpson posted this natural photo days after she received backlash for posting a makeup-free photo to celebrate her 43rd birthday. The image showed the "Take My Breath Away" singer smiling brightly for the camera while flaunting her natural glow.
"43 makeup free (kinda. Ha. I did curl my lashes)," the songwriter captioned the image. Fans of the media personality wasted no time in checkmating "'Make up free' + a heaping helping of cosmetic surgery and treatments. #sorrydoesntcount," a theorist penned. At the same time, another speculated: "You don't need 'makeup' when you have the money to put on permanent makeup, lol."
The 'Duke Of Hazzards' Star Denied Ozempic Accusations
While the "Irresistible" hitmaker's latest appearance has been a topic fans deliberate on, she recently cleared the air about Ozempic accusations. During an interview with Bustle, the mom of three debunked claims that she used the viral Type 2 diabetes medication to cut her weight.
"Oh, Lord! I mean, it is not [Ozempic]. It's willpower," Simpson declared. "I'm like, do people want me to be drinking again? Because that's when I was heavier. Or do they want me to be having another baby? My body can't do it."
For the fashion icon, her weight differences have helped her brand as she clearly understands her target audience. Simpson explained, "I am fortunate to have been every size," she noted. "For [my] brand, understanding the women [who buy our products], and for my psyche."
Although the TV sensation pointed out that the comments from fans about her body still hurt, she wouldn't focus on it. "Am I going to let the negativity derail me? No, I'm too old for that," Simpson shared. "I am too connected to myself right now to let that derail me. It doesn't mean that it doesn't hurt."
Recall that the model shared similar sentiments about the hurtful comments last November when fans accused her of taking Ozempic. The accusations poured in after she posted a Pottery Barn ad on Instagram displaying her daughter's room.
At that time, the 43-year-old posted an emotional write-up on her Instagram. She penned, "As much as I have learned to block out destructive noise… peoples' comments and judgments can still hurt deeply with their incessant nagging 'you will never be good enough.'"
She continued, "The most important thing I have learned through the last 5yrs without alcohol being a guard for escapism is that I CAN and ALWAYS WILL get through it."
