'7th Heaven' Dad, Accused Pedo Stephen Collins Finding Peace With 'Transcendental Meditation'

Stephen Collins has accepted that his life as a Hollywood actor will never be again, so he is focused on Transcendental meditation to help him process.

The former actor isn’t necessarily happy that his career is over but what else can he do? You don’t come back from accusations of being a pedophile and having three victims come forward.

Collins now lives in Iowa with his third wife according to a source for Radar Online. “Stephen lives in a modest home in Iowa, and with his earnings from his Hollywood heyday, he can live out his years comfortably.”

The location, coupled with the meditation is what is helping the disgraced actor through this next phase in his life. Collins was the one who confessed to the inappropriate behavior, solidifying that he will forever get looks of disgust from people who know his dirty little secret.

Collins discussed the alleged assaults during a therapy session back in 2011 with his second wife actress Faye Grant. In 2014, the audiotapes of Collins admitting to exposing himself to an 11-year-old relative of his first wife, Marjorie Weinman.

“There was one moment of touching where her hand, I put her hand on my penis,” confessed Collins. He later sat down with PEOPLE and shared that there were two more victims claiming that between 1973 to 1994, he “did something terribly wrong that I deeply regret.”

The Because I Said So actor shared that he looked up to one of the women and apologized for his behavior toward her 15 years after the incident took place. She allegedly was “extraordinarily gracious.”

The actor revealed that his mediation practices have played a big role in his accountability, and he may have re-offended the women he confronted over his disgusting behavior.

“But after I learned in the course of my treatment that my being direct about such matters could actually make things worse for them by opening old wounds, I have not approached the other two women, one of whom is now in her 50s and the other in her 30s.”

Insiders are revealing that he has finally come to terms with his shameful practices and being alone with only his wife and apparently no friends has played a huge role in him realizing the consequences for his actions.

Sources are sharing that “Practicing TM has helped put his head right to deal with his horrific behavior, even though he knows he can never make it up to the women he hurt as young girls.”

They continue. “He misses being an actor, but he knows no one is going to welcome him back to Hollywood — and he has no one to blame but himself.”

In his acceptance, Collins has settled into a quiet life in Iowa and while he allegedly doesn’t have many friends anymore, the 75-year-old is at the age where he should be spending quality time with his wife anyway.
