Kyle Richards Teases Mauricio Umansky About His Weight Loss Amid Separation: 'Must Be Ozempic'

Reality TV star Kyle Richards playfully teased her husband, Mauricio Umansky, on Instagram after he shared a transformation photo showcasing his six-year weight loss journey.

While Umansky received praise from followers, Richards sarcastically joked about his progress, mentioning the diabetes drug Ozempic. 

The couple recently addressed rumors of their separation, dispelling any claims of wrongdoing and expressing their love and respect for each other.

Kyle Richards playfully trolled her husband, Mauricio Umansky, on Friday after the "Buying Beverly Hills" star shared a before-and-after photo showcasing his impressive six-year weight loss journey on Instagram.

Captioning the shirtless photos, Umansky wrote, "I was planning on posting this for my birthday, but I was in Aspen and there has been a lot of noise."

He added, "6 years ago I was fat and out of shape. The plan is to get better every year. I need to post this to keep me going and every guy knows you don't post unless you just worked out and are all pumped up lol."

While many of Umansky's followers praised his dedication and hard work, the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star teased him, sarcastically commenting, "Must be ozempic" along with tounge out emojis. Umansky simply responded with three laughing emojis, adding, "must be."

On her part, Richards has also been working hard to achieve a toned physique, proudly displaying her rock-solid abs and slimmer figure, attributing her remarkable transformation to a complete lifestyle makeover. Unfortunately, persistent rumors have emerged suggesting that she is relying on the diabetes drug Ozempic to facilitate her weight loss progress.

In response to the rumors, Richards addressed the issue, emphatically stating to Page Six that she has never tried or taken Ozempic. "I'm not on any weight loss drugs. If you know me, you know I have terrible anxiety so that would scare me to death. I have never, ever ever taken it," she firmly affirmed.

However, Richards attributes her success in achieving her desired physique to the arduous workouts she endures with her personal trainer, Cory Gregory.

In a joint statement released earlier this month on Instagram, Richards and Umansky unequivocally dismissed any speculation of "wrongdoing" and put an end to rumors surrounding their surprising separation. The couple, who has been married for 27 years, clarified that reports of their impending divorce were entirely "untrue."

In their statement, the couple acknowledged that they have faced significant challenges over the past year, describing it as the "most challenging one of our marriage." Despite these hardships, they emphasized, "We both love and respect each other tremendously."

Amid rumors about Richards' alleged romance with country music singer Morgan Wade, the estranged couple seemingly sought to set the record straight.

"There has been no wrongdoing on anyone's part. Although we are in the public eye, we ask to be able to work through our issues privately," the couple stated. "While it may be entertaining to speculate, please do not create false stories to fit a further salacious narrative."

Concluding their statement, Richards and Umansky expressed gratitude towards their devoted fans for their unwavering love and support throughout their journey.

In 1994, Richards crossed paths with Umansky, and their love story began. Two years later, the lovebirds tied the knot in January 1996 and welcomed three daughters together: Alexia, 27; Sophia, 23; and Portia, 15.

Throughout their over two decades of romance, the couple has consistently quashed rumors surrounding the challenges they have faced. On numerous occasions over the years, they have denied any breakdown in their bond.

In a March 2013 interview with People, per The Independent, Umansky emphasized the authenticity of their connection, stating, "We're the same, with or without cameras. We're just super real and we know each other and we're real. We don't have any secrets to hide."

He added, "That's one thing we talked about, the skeletons in the closet, and we can handle our worst skeletons."
