The White House is closing its investigation on the cocaine found in the West Wing and Donald Trump is not happy about it.

The former U.S. President took to his social media app, Truth Social, to slam the investigation after the White House announced on Thursday that they could no longer continue with the case due to a lack of physical evidence.

On Thursday afternoon, Trump took to Truth Social to question why the investigation was closed. "It has just been announced that the “investigation” of Cocaine in the White House has ended. Despite all of the cameras pointing directly at the 'scene of the crime,' and the greatest forensics anywhere in the World, they just can’t figure it out?" he asked. "They know the answer, and so does everyone else! In the meantime, they continue to target and investigate me, for years, in what has been called the greatest Witch Hunt of all time - Over NOTHING!!! ELECTION INTERFERENCE & a Two Tier Level of Justice."

Former Secret Service agent Bobby McDonald told TMZ that the White House doesn’t have video footage of who left the cocaine because it was placed in an area that lacked security cameras. Although they have a list of suspects based on who was in the area during the time frame, it is impossible to narrow it down to just one person due to a lack of video or physical evidence.

No Surveillance Footage Captured The Incident

The agency said in a statement that there was “no surveillance video found” that would aid in their investigation. They also said that the FBI lab could not find any fingerprints or DNA that it could use to compare with the “known pool of individuals.”

Law enforcement officials stated that the cocaine was found in a "receptacle used to temporarily store electronic and personal devices prior to entering the West Wing." The cocaine was found in an area that is frequented by visitors, journalists, and staffers each day, prompting concerns about the lack of security in the West Wing.
