Kathy Griffin Has Some Choice Words For Male Comedians: 'They're All Pigs'

Renowned comedian Kathy Griffin has again stirred up controversy with her scathing remarks about male comics, whom she calls "pigs."

In a recent interview, Griffin boldly claimed to have seen the genitals of all the male comedians she has worked with, and stated that lewd jokes with exposed penises at parties were common "back in the day."

Griffin, known for her provocative and often controversial style of comedy, did not mince words during her interview with Page Six. She targeted male comedians, suggesting a perceived lack of respect and questionable behavior within their ranks.

The "Suddenly Susan" alum, who has been outspoken about her criticism of the male-dominated comedy world, slammed male comics as "pigs" and claimed to have seen "all their penises."

"I've been at every party back in the day when they'd be like, 'Kat, Look! My penis is a wristwatch. I'm like, 'Yes, I get it. We've seen it again," she stated.

Griffin added, "Guy comics are pigs. They're all pigs. I've been around a long time. I've seen all their penises."

Although Griffin didn't specify which male colleague she was particularly referring to, she asserted that the behavior she witnessed was standard practice in the '90s, per Page Six.

According to her, the comedy industry was plagued with a culture that normalized inappropriate conduct and objectification at the time.

She divulged that it wasn't uncommon for men to bring out their penises at a party unexpectedly and dry-hump her "with an exposed penis."

"That was like a big joke in my day where one of the guys would grab you and pretend like he was like, butt f**king you. And it happened to all of us," she said. "They don't think of me as a girl."

In her interview with the news outlet, Griffin revealed that she finds herself still dealing with the lingering aftermath of a controversy that erupted in 2017 when she posed for a photograph holding a replica of Donald Trump's severed head covered in blood.

Griffin's life took an unexpected turn when the controversial photo went viral, sparking outrage from both political figures and the public. The image was widely condemned as being in poor taste and crossing the line of acceptable political satire. Griffin faced severe backlash, including death threats and the loss of numerous professional engagements.

The footage revealed the toll that her health struggles had taken on her, capturing the moment that sought to numb the area of her vocal cord where the surgery would take place. She then later appeared in a hospital bed after the procedure was done.

"This is part of my recovery post lung cancer surgery," she said, adding, "I'm cancer free." Griffin concluded by saying, "So anyway, I'm a little scratchy today, but I'll be in good shape!"
