Alix Earle and Braxton Berrios Make Red Carpet Debut Amid Sophia Culpo Split

TikTok star Alix Earle has made her red carpet debut with NFL star Braxton Berrios, amid the fall-out from his highly public split with reality star Sophia Culpo earlier this year.

"The Culpo Sisters" reality star claimed that their relationship ended due to "betrayal" and later posted alleged screenshots between her and her ex-boyfriend, showing that the timeline of their relationship ending didn't line up with what he had claimed.

Regardless, Alix and Braxton have not been shy about their new relationship, even sharing a video on TikTok that featured her jumping on him shirtless in bed and enjoying a quiet date night cooking together.

It appears that Alix Earle and Braxton Berrios are now red carpet official. The two posed for photographs together on the red carpet at the 2023 ESPY Awards in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.

The social media sensation wore a strapless black leather dress with open-toe black heels to show off her pedicure. She wore her hair slicked back and complimented her outfit with bronzed cheeks and a nude lip. Braxton, meanwhile, wore a pastel suit over a white button-up shirt and white sneakers.

In late June, Alix Earle shared a TikTok that featured her on vacation in the Hamptons. Although the two attended a Calvin Harris concert together, fans were more taken in by the two-second mark of the video that showed Braxton Berrios sitting shirtless on the end of her bed as she straddles him.

Their relationship status was unclear at the time. When one fan commented, "HARD LAUNCH. HARD LAUNCH." Alix replied, “We’re not even ‘dating’ but just hard for me to not share stuff w u guys, hahahaha.”

However, considering that the two decided to pose for photos on the red carpet together, it looks like they have decided to take their relationship to the next level.

Following Alix's video, the 27-year-old football wide receiver shared his version of events as to how his relationship with Culpo ended in an Instagram Story posted in late June. “I don’t want to start anything. I don’t want to fuel anything,” he began in the video, which was transcribed by Page Six. “I genuinely want all of this to be over and everybody to move on and do whatever makes them happy.”

“I was in a relationship for two years," he continued, referring to his relationship with Sophia Culpo. "It was a good relationship, it was a healthy one. And towards the end of it, we had conversations along the lines of we just weren’t working out. So when we split back in January, that’s why.”

Berrios claimed that the end of their relationship "had nothing to do with anybody else" and stated that it "just didn't work out and that's okay." He added, “It’s been very weird and sad to see kind of what’s gone on since then," adding, "I’ve been quiet because it’s totally out of character for me to talk about my private life, publicly. But I feel like it needed to be touched on now.”

In screenshots shared to social media and obtained by TMZ, Sophia indicated that Braxton was not telling the truth about the way that their relationship ended. Although he claimed that they called it quits in January, it seems that the couple was still together in February, judging by the screenshots.

In a screenshot of a conversation from January 31, Sophia wrote, “It seems like you’ve contemplated the alternative though.” Braxton replies: “No I haven’t. Don’t read into that.”

“Ok so you want to be with me,” Sophia writes, to which he replies, “Yes I want to be with you.” Sophia added a heart emoji to the comment before she wrote, “Ok back to serious talk.” He replied, “HAHAHA I’m going to the hurricanes bball game with rob in 30.”

In screenshots that are dated February 11, Sophia texts Braxton: “I really hope it doesn’t blow up any more but that’s not in my control. What will be will be. And okay just lmk.”

Braxton replies: “It won’t. And I’ll do everything in my power to make sure of it. Cause I don’t want to be associated with anything like that obviously. You don’t deserve that and frankly neither do I.”

Sophia went on to write: “The real timeline. We broke up after the Drake concert at Super Bowl weekend where he was seen making out with another girl." This means that the two actually called it quits in mid-February, according to Sophia.

"Not bitter, in fact I know this situation has been one of my biggest blessings. I wish everyone in this situation all the best, including myself which is why I’m here to share the truth so I can officially be done with all of this," she added. "All love.”
