Britney Spears Shares Lacy Black See-Through Dress Throwback

Singer Britney Spears is taking a trip down memory lane upon announcing the release of her new memoir.

The tell-all book is titled "The Woman In Me" and will hit bookshelves on October 24, 2023. Meanwhile, the "Toxic" singer has been sharing a few throwbacks on Instagram as she thinks back on both the good and bad times throughout her career so far.

On Wednesday night, the 41-year-old pop star shared a few throwbacks of her favorite outfits throughout the years. The first outfit is a lacy black dress that barely falls to her upper thighs. The long-sleeve material is see-through, allowing fans a look at the black bra and panties she was wearing underneath. She complimented the look with open-toe black sandals.

On the second slide, Britney posed beside her ex-boyfriend, Justin Timberlake. She is also wearing a see-through black dress that dropped all the way to her ankles and open-toe black sandals. This see-through dress featured horizontal stripes, but fans can still see her bra and the outline of her thong underneath the sheer material.

In the third slide, Britney’s hair is long and straight as she looks into the camera. She is wearing a sleeveless tan tank top along with a beaded green necklace that is complete with a red and white pendant. She shared another look at this outfit on the fourth and sixth slides as well. Her mouth is wide open in the last slide as if she is singing.

In the fifth slide, Britney’s hair is much shorter as she smiles, revealing her pearly white teeth. She is wearing another black dress with an off-the-shoulder look. This short-sleeve dress is not see-through, although it does feature a series of colorful cords that stitch together the dress in the middle. In the caption of this Instagram post, Britney wrote, “Some of my favorite looks in the past !!!”

In 2021, the “Slumber Party” singer took a trip to Maui and fell in love with a blue-eyed Australian shepherd puppy named Sawyer. On Wednesday night, she shared a whole Instagram carousel full of photos of her playing with Sawyer around the yard. Sawyer is two years older and a lot bigger as the two roll around in the grass.

“Throwback with me and Sawyer !!!” Britney wrote in the caption of this Instagram post, although these photos are much more recent. In fact, Britney posted a video on Instagram of her rolling around in the grass with Sawyer and almost losing the top of her dress just last month.

Elsewhere on Wednesday night, the “Circus” singer reposted an Instagram video of her dancing in her living room. She is wearing a long-sleeve white crop top along with pink bikini bottoms. Although she starts the video dancing in the white pointed boots that have made an appearance in many of her Instagram videos, she goes barefoot for the second half of the video.

Britney appears much more animated dancing barefoot as she spins around and around, letting her long blonde hair whip around her face. She moves her arms and her hips dramatically as she twirls around the tile floor of her living room. “Repost Maria with boots and without !!!” she wrote in the caption, possibly referring to the name in her Instagram bio, Maria River Red.

That wasn’t the only dancing video that the pop star shared on Wednesday night. She also posted another Instagram video that featured her dancing in the same outfit. It looks like she kept the white boots on for the whole video as she shakes her hips around and around, doing a lot less spinning than the last video.

Although she didn’t mention Maria in the caption of this post, fans can’t help but wonder if she’ll share where the name “Maria River Red” comes from in her new memoir, “The Woman In Me,” which hits bookshelves on October 24, 2023, and is available to preorder now!
